Unknown POV

She just ran. She doesn't have any chance of winning. We are bigger than you think we are. You think we are just mere shapeshifters? No. We are more than that. We are the splinter under the worlds fingernails. We bring equality by leading magic users to extinction. We silence the noise. As for our little hero. Your time is running out. Youngblood.

Brenda's POV

I was in darkness. Walking in a dark forest the trees seemed alive. They appeared to sway back and forth with no evidence of wind rocking them. As for me I was stuck in my place. I couldn't move at all. I heard voices echoing from the forest it sent chills to my spine I knew who was behind this. Who was behind the whispers in my head. "It was Courtney Love." I said in this dark forest. I felt the trees closing in and the last whisper I heard made the trees engulf me and I woke up.

I woke up startled, and with anger and hatred. In front of me I saw Courtney just laughing at me for being startled . I wanted to jump on her and maul her to death, and like always I'm strapped to a chair. It was ropes this time. "Why don't you inject me with that stupid syringe so I can just join your stupid society" I yelled as I fought against the ropes. "Don't think I don't know what you're doing. I know your weaknesses. Why do you think your mother was there?" I was left speechless. She smiled and took off her sunglasses to reveal her horrible demonic eyes. Words couldn't describe how furious I was. For some reason I started growling at her. That was the dumbest thing I've ever done. She laughed even more and said "Do you really think you can escape now? You're weak Brenda. When you think you're winning you'll only find out that the war is won before it's begun." I started grinding my teeth together and start threatening her by shouting out "I'M ABOUT TO MAKE YOUR SWEAT ROLL BACKWARDS, AND YOUR BEAT IN REVERSE,IM JUST A LONELIER VERSION OF YOU I JUST DONT KNOW WHERE IT WENT WRONG." She raised her eyebrow at me and said "You think I'm afraid of you? You're useless. You think I'll let you go with silly intimidations? Think again. She gave me an evil wink and left the room.

I looked around the room to see what could get me free. I saw nothing I just saw Courtney's desk that had some average office junk and and a vase that had white roses covered in maybe blood? Wait what? How long was I out? But what if it was genetically like that? WHY AM I TALKING ABOUT ROSES? THIS IS NOT THE TIME TO TALK ABOUT ROSE. I NEED TO ESCAPE. Maybe I shouldn't try to escape. I'm weak like Courtney said I guess I should just accept what's gonna happen.

Courtney enters the room and brings a young man in. She starts whispering something in his ear and hands him a knife. I just remained motionless accepting my death. He looked into my eyes then raised the knife and cut the ropes around my hands. He pulled me up and held his knife towards Courtney I pulled his hand signaling that we should go and we were so close to getting out of here when he told me "I'm sorry" and he pushed me out of the room and the door slammed shut behind me. No this can't happen I should've died now he might die because of me. I tried to break the door down. I kicked it, and I tried to punch it but it was no use. The next thing I heard was a gunshot and blood crept from under the crack of the door. I was terrified so I ran. I didn't dare to look back I covered my face and ran past the shapeshifters. I ran with tears in my eyes.
