Stuff that happens to me

Chapter 1 and intro

Sooo this isn't my first story but it will be the first one I plan to stick to writing. I'm not a very good author but I will try my best. But first a few facts about me; I am in 8th grade and I am also in band. I play the flute (in my opinion the best instrument). I also play soccer it is my favorite sport. Anyway back to the book I plan to write stories about what happened to me but I will be changing the names of characters and I might stretch the truth a little but anyway you probably want to start reading so enjoy.

          Jordan Lewis, my name, my parents named me after Michael Jordan (they really like basketball and wanted a boy but here I am a girl). I am in 8th grade and I absolutely hate school. It's not that I'm bad in school its just that I don't like everybody in it (most everyone). My best friends are Carmen and Savannah. We have been best friends since 4th and 5th grade. Currently it is the 9th of August, which means it is VBS week (if you don't know what that is it is Vacation  Bible School). My mom is making me help out. I don't mind as much because Lucas will be there. Lucas is sooo hot and super nice too, I like him a lot. When I got there I looked around and couldn't find him and before I could continue looking around I had to go in the room with all the kids. You see me and him are pretty decent friends and I'm not the kind of person who is scared to talk to the person I like. After VBS I went home kind of upset but I wasn't too upset.

                                    **********Skip to Friday which is the last day**********

I walk in same thing as usual still confused because I haven't seen Lucas. I sit through the last excruciating video we have to watch. I head to each station as usual and lastly we go to the game station. We go in and I see Lucas he smiles and waves at me. I walk over and say "hi" he says the same. Apparently at a camp I didn't go to him and this girl named Ella were flirting and he said he liked her. I was told this by my friend Charlotte. " so you and Ella" I say while smirking. he looks over at me like I'm completely crazy and shakes his head rapidly I end up finding out that none of it was true.

                                   **********skip to the after party thing outside**********

After VBS they had a party and it had a lot of inflatables; ones that you get wet from, ones that you don't, ones that you play games in. I ended up going to the gaga ball pit. Lucas just happened to also go there. We played gaga ball the entire time. He said he wouldn't get me out and made sure the ball didn't hit me too even if that meant he was out. At one point when we were both out I was standing on some sand bags which were holding down the gaga ball pit. I looked over and said "I'm finally taller than you" while laughing and he shook his head and said "only cause you're standing on those" pointing at the sandbags. I laugh and we go back in for the next round.

At the end of the night he turned to me and said "do you have snapchat" and I do so I nod he says "here let me add myself" I hand him my phone and I walk to my mom to get a water then go back and he hands it back. He then says "I'll text you when I get home." I nod and walk back to my mom because we are leaving. I get in the car still smiling I look in the mirror and can tell I'm glowing a little bit. When I got to bed I can only think about what happened.
Today was a good day, wait no a great day, the best.
