It was around six in the morning, Dan tried to shield his eyes from the rising sun but in fear of going blind hid behind a tree. Resting his head on the back of the tree, not caring that his now blond hair might get leaves or twigs stuck in it.

The day before when Stacy and Dan got back from the Werecat camp, Stacy and another werewolf found a way to change Dan's hair color. After all, they didn't want anyone to recognize him. If anyone would even recognize him at all. So they used a bunch of yellow flowers, made them into some sort of paste, and practically painted his hair into a blond color. Dan didn't mind it though, it was something new.

But Dan would still have to wait a little while before he could find his way into his old town. He hated having to hide his wold ears and tail, to him it was uncomfortable. Dan sighed, he just wanted to get the day over with. Yet he was unaware of the Werecats meeting with the Werewolf Alpha later that day.

Lizzie on the other hoof was already in town. Mastering her illusion spell a few hours earlier, she didn't want to wait and let the spell wear off. She was actually excited to wear pants for once! Though her pink hair might cause somewhat of a distraction, Lizzie didn't think too much of it.

She would be more focused on the mission if not for the fact that her old home has changed so much. So many new buildings and streets! She wanted to explore all of what the town had to offer before she had to go back home. Lizzie though to herself as she wandered through the empty stone streets. But maybe by nightfall, I can sneak into the orphanage and bring a child home? The orphanage... I wonder if it still even exists.

Roughly an hour after the sunrise Dan got to his old town. Of course, it wasn't as he remembered it. He didn't remember so many wooden homes and shops. And he didn't remember all the streets being stone. I thought only the rich had stone roads in front of their homes... I don't remember it being this alive at this early in the morning either...

Already there were donkey-drawn wagons, stops opening up for business, and children kicking around a ball on their way to school. Dan instantly started eyeing the children, they where the only reason why he was here. Children were so much easier to convince and adapt to a new lifestyle than adults, it's why so many creatures are interested in human children.

Though as Dan was lost in his thoughts a little ball rolled over to his feet, it belonged to those children. "Hey!" one of them shouted, "kick it back!"

Though instead of just kicking back the ball Dan did a little trick, practically juggling it between his feet before finally kicking it back to the children. One of the children tried to repeat the trick but failed to do it. The child's friends laughed before snagging the ball and just kicked it around between the small group.

Meanwhile, Lizzie was busy with trying to find where the orphanage was located. It SHOULD be near the edge of town. But who knows where the edge of town is at this point. Should I just ask for directions? I remember something! It was near the old windmill! She thought excitedly. Looking around she could see the tip old blades of the windmill and raced to find her old home.

Yet once she got there Lizzie's smile faded and turned into a frown. The windmill was still there, sure. But the orphanage wasn't even habitable. It was old and worn down, half of the roof was caved in, and there was no door or windows. "What happened?" She asked aloud as if someone would tell her.

But to her surprise a woman who heard her answered. "After that one girl ran away the orphanage had to bump up its security. They rarely let the kids out to play so many were afraid of putting their little ones in the orphanage, even if they couldn't take care of the kid themselves. So, eventually, all the kids who were left in the building grew up. With no new kids to take care of the workers abandoned the building. And that's the story."
