Into the unknown

Chapter 7

After the last one was called the announcer called out again.
"Can all teenagers stand up and come to the stage please!?"
And they all did then he called all the parents to the stage to say goodbye to the children who weren't coming home today. Yes there are times when they get to visit each other but not today. Today is the day we all get settled, for most of them anyway.
"Can Sapphire Arnold, Diana Hunter, Lana White, Skyler Warner and Landon Green stay back please?!" He said it without warning and all five teenagers froze in place. But they stayed and waited for all the other to start leaving. Soon everyone was gone and they all turned around and walked up to the announcer. Some with angry faces others excited, then awkward silence till our white haired werewolf snarled and broke the everlasting silence.
"First, why am I still here? Second, I was promised freedom so why can't I go??" The announcer looked taken aback then answered calmly with.
"All I was told that the five of you needed to stay till the boss arrives." He shrugged and continued what he was doing.
A while later, a tall women walked through the dull brown door. And greeted them in a rushed manner like she didn't have much time.
"I don't have much time I wasn't supposed to tell you this but you guys have a quest which is rare for your age. Let me quickly fill you in on what I mean, for awhile now we have been sending groups of five and none of them have come back yet. And because of your abilities all together, is very strong."
"So what do you want us to do?" Asked the emerald eyed boy with earth powers.
"We need you to go look for them."
"Well what were they looking for anyway?" The girl with white hair asked.
"They were looking for more then this more signs of life. My part of the government wants to know well the other... let's just say they don't know about this. So for tonight you guys are gonna have a camp out in here and then you can bond and get to know each other and a few people will come to get you started on your quest tomorrow." With that she walked out with a lot of them scowling at her back where she couldn't see.
