I just want to let you guys know that I have no idea how long this book is going to be and im just writing it for fun, now without further ado I present to you ******le chapter******
Mrs. Bustier: Alright class settle down the school bell rings signaling class is starting Ive just gotten word that a new girl has just moved into the bakery across the street and will be attending this school starting on Monday
the class erupts in talk about what they think she'll be like.
Alya: Ihope shes nice and we become friends, being around two boys all the time is exhausting Alya says feigning a yawn, Nino rolls his eyes and playfully shoves Alya meanwhile Adrien just chuckles at his two friends
Mrs. Bustier: now I know the year is well underway so the new girl will have some catching up to do and I would like a few of you to sign up to become tutors since im sure it would be nice for her to be tutored by her classmates. Ill leave the signup sheet on the door till Monday so you can all have some time to think about it and meet her Mrs Bustier finishes talking and hangs up the signup sheets and organizes some papers to prepare for class
Alya shoots up out of her seat pen in hand and is the first to sign up to tutor, this will totally help us become friends with her, she thinks, and proceeds to also write down Ninos and Adriens names. Once satisfied she skips back to her seat behind the boys and whistles nonchalantly hoping they don't notice their names on the sheet. Both boys immediately turn around and give her the unamused I know what you did look. Alya being Alya gave them a big toothy grin pushed their faces in the correct direction and pretended like nothing happened as Mrs. Bustier started class.
Class went by fast as everyone was buzzing about the new girl, and soon school was out for the weekend. Adrien decided this would be the perfect opportunity to he see if the family needed help moving boxes into the new bakery or maybe if they needed workers since they just moved here.
On his way he witnessed an elderly man walking across the street while one of the moving trucks sped down the road straight for him. Adrien quickly ran towards the old man and pulled him onto the curb just before the truck blew past them. Unknown to Adrien a box had been slipped into has bag as he helped the man stand up and go on his way.
Adrien continued on his way to the bakery when he saw a teenage bluenette walk on to the sidewalk coming out of the bakery, Adrien deduced this was the new student and made his way over to her not noticing she had gotten into the truck, as he passed by he was hit right in the face by a box she had thrown out. Adrien being a nice kid decided to ignore this girls assault on his face and offered her parents help unloading the truck. The day went by fast despite Adrien not looking at or speaking to the girl and they eventually cleared out the truck. They were going to send Adrien on his way, until it started raining.
Adrien: Really Mrs and Mr Dupain-Cheng I should really get going, its just a little rain and my house isn't too far away, ill be alright Adrien spoke as he flipped up his hood and zipped up his coat, preparing for the rain. He gives them a last wave before he steps outside.
Marinette: Hey. Adrien ignores her. She opens her umbrella. I just wanted you to know that I wasnt trying to hit you with the box. I swear. I've never been to school before. I've never had friends. It's all sort of new to me.
She covers Adrien with her umbrella. Adrien studies her actions. Suddenly, a thunderclap sounds and Adrien opens his eyes wide. Adrien takes the umbrella, but it closes. Marinette laughs.
Marinette : See you tomorrow.
Adrien: Uh... see you to...mo... tomo... Haha! Whoa, why am I stammering?
Ahhh first chapter!!! If you didnt notice I added the umbrella scene so those words aren't mine minus the pronoun changes. I know its a short first chapter but this just gets the ball rolling, I have so many ideas for this book and future books 😉 I hope you guys are fans!!!!
