fourteen

taehyung was back in seoul now, laying in his own bed and staring at the ceiling. he left two days earlier than planned, the tension between him and hoseok unbearable. he's been home now for about a week. he tried convincing his manager to let him have at least two more weeks off, but he wouldn't budge.

he was close to falling asleep when he felt a vibration from his phone.

seohyun
hurry and come to the office.
it's urgent

taehyung didn't bother replying. he left as soon as possible and got a taxi, heading to the main building where his managers were stationed. he careened towards the entrance, going up the elevator once inside. he waved at familiar faces as he passed, smiling warmly.

when he finally reached the meeting room, he pushed the door open, greeted by his manager, seungwoo, and assistant, seohyun.

"what happened?" taehyung sat down at the table, looking at them expectantly.

seungwoo sighed, folding his hands on the table. "you said you needed more time?"

"more time?" taehyung raised an eyebrow.

"you know, that emergency back home?" seohyun implied. 

taehyung's lips parted in realization. "ah, right." he nodded his head quickly, redirecting his attention back to seungwoo. "yes, it's urgent. but only if there's room in the schedule."

seungwoo glanced over at seohyun. "someone convinced me that the time was needed. so, you get two more weeks, but that's it. no more. you're a busy man, taehyung."

the brunette jumped from his seat. "thank you so much, sir. i promise i'll work ten times harder when i get back." he rushed over to seohyun and kissed her head, thanking her silently before rushing out of the room.

seungwoo chuckled softly, shaking his head. "he never fails to amaze me."
