5 years ago -The Incident
I've been asking all the ghosts in school if they saw Blondie these few days. It's almost 2 weeks now, since she went missing. What could've happen? Now I'm extremely worried. All the ghosts in school said that they haven't seen her for a long time; yes, probably since I asked her to live in my room. Where she could have gone to? I decided to go to the two houses of the murder case that I told her before, after school. She might have been there. Finally the class ended for the day. I ran quickly towards my bike. I can't be home late since I'm starting to feel that aunt Monique finds me suspicious. She kept asking me questions these days. Ryan texted me before; asking about our date on Sunday. I texted him back; telling him that I'm free on that day. Oh, I can't wait! He's gonna bring me to see a horror movie. We've both seen the trailer and anticipated it a lot.

I arrived at the first house. Crap! A ghost was standing inside the window; sneering at me. Well, here goes nothing. I went inside, there she was; waiting for me. "So, you're the one they talked about in the spirit world, right? Finally, we met! Oh, did you come here to offer me your body?" She puts on a wide smile. "Sorry, but nope. I'm trying to find a ghost; woman with blonde hair and a red scarf on her head. Did she came here?" I asked straight to the point, without wasting any time. "Oh, shoot. That girly blondy one? Yea, she did come here last week. Asking me about a murder." She rubbed her chin. "Do you know where she went?" Suddenly, she's smiling. "If I told you, would you give this body to me?" She watched me closely. "If you won't tell me, then I'll just ask another ghost." I answered her firmly. "Tch, what a snobbish kid! I don't know! The last time she was here she just said, 'This is not the house that I'm looking for'. Happy now?" Then she leaves. So Blondie definitely went to the second house!

I can feel her presence outside the house. Slowly, I reached the door knob. It was unlocked. "Blondie..?" No answer. I continued by heading upstairs. I can feel her presence was getting stronger. Then I searched all the rooms; until I reached the last one. There she was; sitting while holding a picture, tears of blood running down her face. "Blondie! Blondie, what happened..?" I reached her hands. She did not answered. "Blondie, are you alright..?" She still didn't say a word. I wont give up. I took the photo from her hands. I looked at it; it was a picture of her! Then I saw at the back of the picture; Jennifer Grace, my love. "Oh, Blondie..." I hugged her. She has finally found out who she is. "He called me Jen. When we were little, he used to call me Jenna. He was my fiancee. He's the love of my life." She cried. I can feel that she's in pain. I hugged her again, tightly. "We'll find him, Jen." I finally gets to call her by her real name.

The next morning Jen and I asked around the neighbourhood to find out about the owner of the house. Jen still can't remember his name; although she did found out who she was and what was her relationship with the owner of the house. Suddenly, an old man came towards our direction. "The man you're searching for is not here. He broke his heart since his fiancee died. That poor man gave everything he could, just to be let down when the police still can't find the killer. And I haven't seen him since." He let out a sigh. I can feel that he is concerned about this man; Jen's fiancee. "Could you tell me his name and where can I find his phone number?" I asked the old man. "I didn't have his number but his name is Jacob. Jacob Peterson."

My mind went elsewhere. I glanced at Ryan who was beside me, he was totally focused on the movie. I kept thinking about that man; Jacob Peterson. Poor Jen, she must have missed him so much! Where could he be? I want to find him for Jen.

"Oh, that movie was great! It was good that we came here to watch it!" Ryan looked satisfied. "Hey, is anything wrong? You're not being you today." He held my shoulder. "No, it was great!" I forced out an answer. He continued to look at me. He was definitely not buying it. "What is the matter? Tell me." He asked. I let out a sigh. "Nothing, really. It's just some freaky ghosty thing.. You don't have to worry." I answered him. "Why wouldn't you tell me anything? Maddy, you're my girlfriend. Of course I want to know. You don't trust me?" He looked disappointed. I felt bad for ruining our date. He dressed up nicely for today; his long brown wavy hair tied up, a jacket on top of white shirt, and a pair of new jeans. His hazel eyes completes it. It's not that I didn't trust him, it's just I'm so used to handle things on my own. I even hide it from aunt Monique. Also, I did not think it was appropriate to tell on Jen's stories to other people without her consent. It wouldn't be fair for her. "Next time I'll tell you." I lied. He looked disappointed again. Suddenly he held my hands; probably to change the awkward mood. "Oh, I forgot to tell you! My basketball team decided to throw a party this weekend. Would you go there with me as my girlfriend?" He put on his charming smile. Oh, I just couldn't say no to this guy! I nodded.
