"Oh baby! WHAT HAPPENED?"
"S-she said I would look g-good in red and suddenly poured a cup of fruit punch all over my white dress!"
"That little bitch! She's really her mother's daughter! Where is she?!"
"No need, Mom. I'm going to tell Dad!!"
Stomping her feet like a kindergarten throwing tantrums, she made her way to her father's study room.
"Dad!"
As soon as she saw her father, tears exaggeratedly flowed to her cheeks making it look like she's in a lot of pain opposite to what she truly feels, a bliss knowing her half-sister would bear the consequence of messing with her again.
"Oh my! What happened dear?!" a gasp escaped his mouth.
"I was just passing by through the kitchen when Ivy poured the fruit punch all over me."
"Ivy went to the kitchen?" he furrowed his eyebrows, surprised with the information.
"Yes, dad! She was there! I was going to get something to drink then this happened!"
"What is she doing in the kitchen?" he stated as suspicion crept through him.
"I- i think sh-she's eating some cake."
Her response made it all clear to him but he chose not to speak about it. He knows she's lying. Heck, what kind of father doesn't know his daughter's allergy to pastries or her avoidance towards the kitchen for it solely reminds her of her long gone and beloved mother.
His eyes slightly squinted. Her confidence on deliberately lying to him made him even more indignant. This ungrateful child! Have I stooped too low to be disrespected and deceived like this?
"Okay. Go to your room. I'll ask someone to fetch a new dress for you."
Oblivious to his cold demeanor, she wipe her tears as a smirk crept its way to her lips deeply satisfied with her made up story, completely ignorant by its failure.
For the past years, she repetitively fabricates stories that ruins Ivy's image especially to her father, making him gradually lose his trust on his older daughter and favor her instead.
She even switched test papers with her multiple times, making Ivy, the top student consecutively ranked down to top ten four times in a row.
For the first time, Mr. Park was greatly disappointed with his first born, his choice for the company's heir gradually wavered until today happened.
He already came to a conclusion. His older daughter might have a sharp tongue but she's also not one to start a fight without a reason.
He's bound to know all of it in due time.

A knock on the door broke the amplified silence inside an elegant spacious room. She looks at herself in the mirror, gently brushing her long dark locks, looking calm and stoic as always.
"Come in." she's been expecting this since that "half-sister" of hers trudged into her room earlier. She knew all too well whats going to happen, she might get grounded for a month again or even worse, not allowed to even get a ray of sunlight outdoors.
"Ivy, dear."
Her brows slightly raised with his sweet tone. The brat didn't tell on me yet?
He looked around her room and spotted some red stain on the carpeted floor. Though he knew what it is, he still asked calmly. "What's this? I'll call the maid to clean it."
