The Break

Killian's POV
I paced around the house when I heard the door open, my head flung towards it expecting to see Emma but I only saw Henry.
"Oh hi Lad." He threw his school bag on the sofa,
"Oh hi. What's wrong?" He chuckled, I shot him a death stare and his smile dropped,
"Dad?" He placed a hand on my shoulder,
"It's Emma. She hasn't come home." We both sat on the sofa and waited for hours and hours. It was now 1am and Emma still wasn't home, Henry was trying to call her but she didn't answer. I eventually gave up,
"I am bloody calling Regina." I picked up my phone and dialled her number.
Phone Call
Regina: "Killian Jones it is 1am what do you want?"
Killian: "Emma. Where is she?"
Regina: "Give me a minute to be able to read the future. I don't have a clue."
Killian: "Okay. Bye."
End of Call
I threw the phone down on the ground and heard a knock on the door, I ran to it and flung it open expecting to see Emma but I saw Belle. She barged right past me,
"Come on in. I wasn't busy." She turned and gave me a stern look of guilt and anxiety,
"Milah." Were the only words she said a chill went down my spine, I despised that name.
"Milah can to the station, she told Emma that she was your wife. Emma freaked and left the station." My heart dropped.

Emma's POV
I drove through all the bright lights... of New York. I couldn't be near Killian right now, I didn't know where I was going but I needed to go somewhere, anywhere.
I parked my car and got out and walked into a hotel, I walked to the reception and the women looked up. And my jaw dropped.
"Ruby?!" Her looked went twisted and then a huge and wide smile grew on her face,
"OMG! EMMA!" She stood up and hugged me over the reception, we had a quick chat but she gave me her number and promised to come see my after her shift finished. I walked up to my room and just sat down and thought, what was I going to do?

Killian's POV
I had Belle, Regina and Robin at my house right now, they were trying to track Emma. Henry walked in,
"She isn't at grandmas." He threw his phone on the counter and walked towards us with a sad look on his face, he slumped into the sofa and I sat next to him.
"We will find her." Tears started to fall on his cheeks,
"Will we? Because everyone has been looking for hours and there is no sign of her." I put my hand over his shoulder but he shook it off and stood up,
"You ruined everything!" He stormed off upstairs and slammed his room door. Tears swelled up in my eyes, and my heart broke.

Emma's POV
I heard a knock on my door and opened it and saw Ruby I gestured for her to come in and we both sat on my bed,
"Emma. What has been going on?" I looked down and took a deep breath,
"So much." I explained everything to her and I mean everything from the moment we separated to now.
1 hour later
"Wow! That is a lot to take in." She said as I was now in tears, it never realised how much it hurt to talk about until now.
"What do I do?" Ruby pulled me into a hug,
"I say that it is now 3am and the bar closes at 6am that we go get drunk off our asses and then tomorrow you go home and get your man." I smiled and got into something else and we headed for the bar, I dropped a quick text to Henry to say sorry but that I was safe and I would be home tomorrow, but don't tell Killian.
We walked into the bar and ordered drinks and Ruby told me everything that happened to her while we had been away,
"I have a great idea, come to StoryBrooke. I could do with a old school friend and you need a new job and a fresh start."
"Omg! Yeah. Thank You." We hugged.
2 hours later
We were back at the hotel but both of us were pissed, we crashed on the bed and fell asleep.
I woke up with a banging headache and saw Ruby in my room packing some belongings, it was 1pm and I needed to head home. I had a quick shower and grabbed my phone and purse and headed out the door. Back home.

Killian's POV
I hadn't gone to sleep since yesterday, I couldn't without Emma. Henry wouldn't talk to me and I felt lost and lonely, I had lost everything because I lied. I heard a knock at the door and didn't get my hopes up, I was right not to, I opened the door and it revealed Milah.
"What do you want?" She smirk and barged into the house,
"Isn't it obvious Killian," She started to undo her top,
"I want... you!" She pulled off her top to reveal a black lacy bra, she threw her top at me, I gestured for her to come closer and I turned her around and placed the top back over her. I got close to her ear and whispered,
"One. My step-son is upstairs. Two. I am not interested sorry. And three. I love Emma." I grabbed her shoulder and barged her out the door,
"Don't bloody come back. And you are not my wife, we did get divorced." I slammed the door behind her and sat on the sofa, soon I fell asleep. Wondering where my Swan was. If she would ever return.
