Once Kyle was brought back, able to talk and function like a relatively normal person, Cordelia and Myrtle had decided that he could be the new butler seeing as the old one was dead. While Fiona had declared Kyle the "Guard-Dog of the Coven" ,a title which had stuck and that he and the girls used, it was not a full-time job and Kyle needed something to keep him busy.
And so Kyle became the new butler, wearing a suit and tending to pretty much everything. He cleaned the house, cooked the meals, set the table, served the food, cleaned the dishes, and still found time to be with his girl friend and get what was a good amount of sleep for the franken-boy.
However, his primary purpose was never forgotten, especially when all the new students came to the academy. Cordelia had brought Kyle into her office the evening before all of the new students arrived. Kyle had been slightly confused as to why she would want to speak with him, sure he was slightly new at working in the academy but he learned quick and got his jobs done efficiently. His worst fear, however silly it may seem, was that they would decide they didn't need him.
That Zoe would find someone better, and that Ms. Delia, as she had asked him to call her rather than Ms. Fox, would decide that they didn't need a butler anymore. Some nights he would be plagued with nightmares of the Supreme and her council shunning him, dismembering him again and feeding him to the gators in the swamps. Zoe knew of this fear, often she had comforted him in the middle of the night when he awoke in tears from the torturous visions his subconscious had created.
It was because of this irrational fear that, no matter how much he tried to remain professional as Ms. Delia had asked him to, he couldn't help but shake as he opened the door to enter the Supreme's study. His fears, however, faded as soon as he saw her with that kind smile and look of pride that made the tight cufflinks on his wrists worth it. Kyle, like Queenie and Zoe, saw Cordelia as a mother figure and was happy when he made her proud.
"Kyle" The Supreme started, " I have something I need to tell you." Those words transformed her smile into a face of seriousness that reminded Kyle of when she would talk about the 7 wonders being deadly or witches being burned for betraying the coven. Immediately becoming on-edge once again Kyle's face remained emotionless as he walked up to her.
He didn't say anything, and Cordelia was fine with that, she just took both his hands and placed his hands to his heart, securing them there with her own hands. "Kyle Spencer", She began, making Kyle nervous, " You have agreed to work here helping the coven correct?" Confused Kyle stuttered, "y-yes ma'am", apparently that was the right thing to say because Cordelia smiled warmly at his reply before going serious once again, "are you willing to commit your life to this coven, protecting it, its supreme, and any allies it may gain in the future?", "Yes ma'am", Kyle was gaining his confidence back, a certain warm energy seemed to be coming from his Supreme's hands and through his, into his heart. Kyle got a determined look on his face as Cordelia continued.
"This, Kyle Spencer, is a sacred oath I must have you agree to, as a male and servant of this house you must pledge yourself to the coven", Kyle listened attentively, slightly nodding, "You must make this oath, not because I don't trust you, but because it is tradition", another nod of understanding and she continued, "Do you, Kyle, take this oath to adopt this coven, making it your duty to protect this coven, and its Supreme; agreeing to face the consequences of ever hurting a member of the coven?" Kyle did not hesitate, "yes ma'am", and he felt that warm magic twist around his heart one last time before she finished, "Then ,Kyle Spencer, you are now officially the coven guard dog."
Cordelia took her hands away, a beaming proud smile stretching across face which Kyle returned with a thankful yet somewhat bashful smile. They stood there in silence for a moment before Cordelia spoke, her voice soft and comforting unlike her serious voice she used a moment before, "I know that was long and probably felt weird" she said, Kyle replying with another sheepish grin, "well, you said my first and last name a lot", making Cordelia laugh lightly, "traditions are like that sometimes, but on the bright side you are now an official member and protector of the coven", that proud smile was back on her face.

American Horror Story - Coven
FanfictionBasically a collection of one shots about life after the coven went public. Mainly Kyle centered because he was my favorite character and there's so much to explore with him. Might become a thing with actual plot across chapters, I don't know.
