It was finally the day of the concert, A.KA. the day I had been dreading. I was already at school and Rachel hadn't gotten there yet. She suddenly rushed up to me with 2 Starbucks lattes in her hands. She knows me so well. "Drink up honey, because you're gonna need lots of energy for tonight!" she screeched. I giggled. I had to admit, I was a little nervous for this concert because I didn't know a single fact about any of the boys in One Direction. RINGGGG. Ugh. I dashed off to class.

The day had surprisingly gone by really fast. Rachel snatched my hand and dragged me out of the building. "What's the rush girl?" She sighed in exasperation. "Natalie! We have to get ready for the concert!" My eyes grew wide and I raised my eyebrows. "5 hours before?" She chuckled lightly and shook her head. "You have so much to learn," she trailed off. We hopped into her brand new car and we soon ended up at a random nail salon. I honestly didn't know why we didn't go to our usual place. "This place is a special occasion for today." It seemed like she had read my mind. I just nodded and started humming the tune of "Warrior" by Demi Lovato. I guess I got a little lost in my make believe music video inside my head because before I knew it, Rachel was waving her hand in front of my face. "Umm earth to Natalie? Natalie to earth?" I quickly high-fived her hand before she could move it and gave her an enormous grin. "What are we gonna do with you?" she said. "I already have our colors and designs picked out. So don't even try to change my mind." I just nodded my head in agreement. I sat down at the nearest booth so I could get my nails done before my toes. The lady sitting there looked about 5 years older than me, so there wasn't that much of an age difference. She wore all pink with her hair curled and a section on the side pulled back with a bright pink hair clip. Her hair was a gorgeous shade of blonde and it fell down in natural ringlets. She wore stilettos that were coated in her signature color, pink. To say she was beautiful would be an understatement. Her beauty was indescribable. The unfortunate thing was that she had a very glum expression on her face. "Omg girl what is wrong? I know when one of my sisters is having a bad day." I wanted to help her so badly. I didn't really know why. I just had that feeling that I should. After all, queens do have good instincts. Her eyes welled up and she grabbed my hands really tight. "My boyfriend of 5 years, and not to mention my fiancé, slept with some slut and left me for her. We were supposed to get married today." No one like her deserved that. For that matter, no one deserves that kind of crap. "Oh sweetie, I'm so so so sorry. That guy is nothing special if he would do that to someone so incredible." I pulled her into a tight hug for what seemed like a very long time. "I'm so sorry. This is so unprofessional. Let's get to work on these nails." She scrambled with her supplies and got to work. When she was finished my nails were a masterpiece. On all of my nails except my ring finger there were British flags. On my ring finger it said "I love 1D". I got all British flags on my toes. To be honest, they were adorable. "These are amazing! Thank you so much!" I hugged her once more. "My name is Sabrina by the way," she said shyly. "Sabrina! That's so beautiful just like you. Here's my number. If you ever need anything just give me a text or a call. It was so nice meeting you!" I hugged her one more time. "You too Natalie!" With that, Rachel and I exited the beauty shop, and we drove back to her house.
