Macy's P.O.V-

"Macy, table one has not received their drinks yet!" Ross shouted from the kitchen, chopping and whacking away at a butchered piece of meat. I tried not to gag from the smell of raw meat as I nodded and grabbed two glasses and filled them up with iced tea and a soda.

"Sorry for such a long wait, we're so busy. Can I get you more bread or salad?" I asked as I set their drinks on the table. They both stared at me like I had two heads.

"Um, no thank you. We're good," the man finally spoke up and I nodded, turning on my heel and scurrying back into the kitchen to deliver more food to tables. Why was it so busy today?

It was just a boring and tiring day so far. Give table their food, come back. Give table their food, come back. That's all it was all day. And because of such long waits to get the food prepared, the customers took that out on me and either didn't tip me or gave me a very small tip which pissed me off.

The only good thing about today is that we finally had gotten someone to preform on the tiny stage we had. It was just this one guy with his guitar and he sat on a stool and just strummed his guitar and sang songs that people requested. People passing by could look in and watch him sing since the stage was right at the front windows.

I ran back into the kitchen where I was about to get scolded. I'm not supposed to run, but I do it anyways. Oh well. "Macy, no running. If you fall and break something or land on a customer, you are in deep-"

"Yes sir," I interrupted him and disappeared through the door with a basket of bread sticks to give to a table.

The playing of music had stopped for about a minute, but picked up again with the sound of an acoustic guitar.

"When I look into your eyes," a familiar voice sang softly. As I placed the tables third basket of bread onto their table, I turned around to see Liam and Niall on the stage. My eyes bugged out and I just stood there watching him. "It's like I'm watching the night sky or beautiful sunrise. There's so much they hold. And just like them old stars, I see that you've come so far to be right where you are. How old is your soul?"

Standing a little away from the stage sat Tatum, grinning as she watched Liam sing and Niall play guitar. Out of the corner of my eye I could see my boss freaking out and fuming, trying to get me back into the kitchen, but I stood there watching Liam sing, stuck in a trance. His chocolate brown eyes were stuck on me.

"I won't give up on us. Even if the skies get rough. I'm giving you all my love. I'm still looking up. And when your needing your space to do some navigating. I'll be here patiently waiting to see what you find," he sang beautifully. Niall sat at the edge of the stage, looking up at Liam then to me then to Tatum.

"Case even the stars they burn," he belted out, shutting his eyes as he held the microphone. "Some even fall to the earth. We've got a lot to learn. God knows were worth it. No, I won't give up. I don't wanna be someone who walks away so easily. I'm here to stay and make the difference I can make.

"The tools and gifts we got yeah, we got a lot at stake. And in the end, you're still my friend at least we did intend for us to work we didn't break, we didn't burn. We had to learn how to bend without the world caving in. I had to learn what I've got, and what I'm not and who I am."

My feet slowly carried me over closer to the stage. There was a crowd now gathering outside the window listening in on Liam singing. The whole restaurant was silent, everyone's eyes glued on Liam singing beautifully to I Won't Give Up by Jason Mraz.

"I won't give up on us, no I'm not giving up," Liam sang, Niall singing in the background. "God knows I'm tough enough, I am tough, I am loved. We've got a lot to learn, we're alive, we are loved. God knows we're worth it, and we're worth it.
