When we arrived at the arena for RAW. It turned out to be quite the eventful if not interesting night for me and the Legit Boss. For instance, it was during the mixed tag team match the final one before TLC that an unwanted guest came from the crowd.
Sasha and I were in our locker room getting ready for our match against Natalya and Kevin Owens. "You nervous Mercy?" I asked her.
"No. I'm rather calm and feel like we will win tonight as we did last week." She smiled.
"Well, one things for sure." I came out and looked at Sasha who was grinning from ear to ear and she started laughing. "Tonight, Kevin Owens and Natalya are going to learn going against us is no laughing matter." I started laughing maniacally.
"Come on. I'm sure we're up next." Sasha led the way out and I put on a snakeskin violet trenchcoat and sported a long brimmed hat. I lowered it over my eyes so no one could see what persona I was tonight. When we reached the gorilla we saw that Natalya and Kevin were already out there. "See you out there baby." She kissed my cheek and headed out when her entrance music hit. She stood at the bottom of the ramp as her music cut out and Jack Nicholson's voice came out of the speakers, 'Gentlemen. Let's broaden our minds, Lawrence.' Then 'Partyman' by Prince started playing and I came out clad in white face paint with a wide smile painted in red and my hair was already colored green. I had become The Joker. One of my more feared personas because when people saw the white face paint and red smile. They knew they were in for the fight of their life not to mention I took pleasure in torturing or causing my opponents the maximum amount of pain I could on them. Sasha smiled as she knew that in this persona I was going to rule the ring with my own touch of insanity and lunacy.Once the match started, Sasha started it with Natalya. I stood on the apron as did Kevin in Natalya's corner. Sasha dominated the entire time she was in the ring and I just laughed and grinned as I watched with sheer pleasure as she took Natalya to school. But when Natalya started fighting back or at least enough to get away from Sasha to tag Kevin in. Sasha tagged me just as Natalya got to Kevin. I leapt over the top rope and ran right for Kevin and delivered a very vicious clothesline to Kevin that nearly knocked him out of his boots. I then just wailed on him as he tried to cover up. The ref pulled me off him and gave me a very short lecture on listening to his orders. Then moved out of the way just in time to duck under Kevin's clothesline attempt and nail him with a high back kick to the chin.
It was at this point I looked to a fan that looked familiar and when I turned to Kevin who was climbing to his feet. Said fan stepped over the barricade and walked over to me and Sasha's corner and started harassing her. I decided that this would be a perfect opportunity to end the match and set Kevin up the Punchline. Which in essence would be considered a pop-up straight punch. So when I did do the Punchline. I pinned Kevin for the three count then rolled out to where the fan was and pulled his hoodie off and noticed it was Spencer from the meet and greet. I gripped the back of his neck harshly and performed a reverse chokeslam right there at ringside on his ass. Then picked him up and tossed him into the ring and rolled in myself after him. I picked him up and performed the Killing Joke on him. I did one more before Sasha came in and stood in front of me. But I was going to debut a new move as the Joker and when Spencer stood up, I kicked him in the gut, slid his head under my left arm, slid both my arms under his holding his arms behind his back and lifted him high in the air in a double arm hanging suplex only to drop onto my back and him on his head in a DDT. Sasha grabbed a mic and handed it to me. "Oh, Spencer. Congratulations. You are the first victim of the Last Laugh." I laughed maniacally as Sasha and I left the ring and trainers, referee's and EMT's checked on Spencer.Once backstage and I took off the paint. Sasha and I went out to eat at a nice pizza parlor in the city. One of the perks of being in the business as long as I have is that you know where the best eateries are. We took a couple of pizzas back to the hotel with us.
"I still can't believe you pulled that persona out of mothballs just for me tonight."
"Well, I thought you might need some cheering up since the meet and greet was ruined by Spencer. But I'm sure he's regretting coming to Raw tonight."
"Yeah. I'm sure he is too." She giggled. "By the way. When did you come up with The Last Laugh?"
"Oh, years ago." I smiled. "I came up with it before I was forced out. And spent the last four years perfecting it. Using it only in local charity matches." I told her.
"Well, it worked perfectly tonight." She grinned wider as she kissed me before taking another bite of her third slice of pizza.
"Are you really looking forward to going to my hometown?" I asked her.
"Yes. Why do you ask?"
"Because Menan is a small town and I just don't want you to get your hopes up."
"Baby." She smiled. "As long as I'm with you. I don't care if it's smaller than you described. As long as I'm with you." She smiled.
"Okay. Good." I smiled as I kissed her and we finished the first pizza and saved the second for breakfast the next morning. "I bought tickets for a two o'clock flight to Salt Lake City, then from there I arranged for us to fly to Idaho Falls airport then we'll catch a cab to my uncle's place then go from there."
"Sounds good to me." She smiled as we put the second pizza aside and just cuddled close together, we didn't bother changing into our sleep attire and I took my glasses off and put them on the bedside table and turned off the light and in mere seconds, we were both fast asleep.
