"He was alone under the purple sky”

And by God, he was.

He had it all. The popularity at school, the girls chasing after him, the other guys jealous of him, but he knew that all of that wouldn’t be able to fill in that gap in his life. He had a lot of people around him, but still felt lonely at the same time, Dating any of the girls that followed him wasn’t enough, and all because of that one girl who doesn’t pay attention to him, that one girl who does what she wants and gets what she wants, not because she’s a snotty little white girl who has her parents spoiled rotten to the point of no return, but because she fights for what she wants and believes in despite the fact that she gives off that negative stubborn vibe while doing so. He desired her when he first saw her, her appearance caught his eye. The way her hair was colored in various shades of red and yellow blended in her natural brunette haircolor, like a zebra pattern, and the way she acted towards others. She was naturally and subconsciously stubborn and aggressive, but at the same time she was caring and knew what was right. He couldn’t resist, but he also didn’t want to give in. Every interaction they had was something that ended with one or both upset at the other. There were times that she also showed some type of strong feeling for him, but she knew that her friends and peers wouldn’t take it so well, which is why she kept in denial about it, the only thing she kept to herself and a few others. There were times where both of them have had interactions where they show how much they care for each other, but he was not so much aware of it as she was, thanks to the amount of alcohol he chocked down to neutralize the pain he had suffered from other relationships. Throughout the course of four years, she has been the only one who was there for him in the good times as well as the bad. Through his breakups and his successes. But the sad part was that he never acknowledged it, he never really noticed it, and when he did, it was too late. The girl he had always wanted went unnoticed during the most important times, and now she was gone, far away across the world. Laying in the grass in his yard looking at the sky, the regret was hitting him hard. He wanted to do something about it, acknowledge her eternally, but it was too late. And he knew that he would never see her again. Ever.
