It was Sunday now. Sonic opened his eyes, and the first thing he noticed was that Tails was nowhere to be found. He called out his name over and over again. "Where did that sexy fox go?" No matter what, Sonic just couldn't find him. He wasn't in the bathroom, living room, or bedroom. "Did he leave me?" Sonic wondered. He began having depressive thoughts. "What the hell is wrong with me?" he kept asking himself. "Why did he leave.." he started sobbing. He figured he was probably out sleeping with some other hedgehog. He made a decision with himself, if Tails wouldn't be with him, there was no reason for him to live. During small talk last night, Tails mentioned he had a revolver in his kitchen drawer. He ran over to the kitchen, his speed reflecting how distraught he was. He swung upon the drawer, breaking it and having it clatter to the ground. Inside, there was a stack of napkins, some sauce packets, and the revolver Tails said was in there. He picked up the revolver and stared back at it. This small device, barely the size of his hand would end in his life in the next couple minutes. Sonic couldn't stop pondering if this was the right decision. He saw his reflection in the stainless steel. He wanted to do it, but he didn't. He sighed. This is it. Am I really doing this? You know what, fuck it. Fuck Tails. He did this to me. He'll see what happens and realized he shouldn't of left. He grabbed the gun and make sure the clip was in and that it had bullets. It had plenty. He aimed it as his head. He did a countdown in his brain. 3.... 2.... 1.... He fired. Unfortunately, he had missed and the bullet ricocheted off the floor and hit the window. The glass shattered into millions of pieces, some on the apartment floor and into the street below. The sound of the gun going off was enough to make Sonic jump. He leaped up as it went off and didn't land right on his feet. He fell backward, and the gun that had just went off slipped out of his hands. The back of his head hit the ground and made a loud thump, almost knocking him out as the gun fell to the ground as well and went off one more time. This time, it didn't miss. It shot him in the leg. Sonic screamed in pain as blood shot out of his leg instantly. He had no idea what to do. He had to kill himself, there was no way to patch the wound. He tried to move himself with his other leg without standing up, half unconscious. The gun was halfway across the kitchen. Would he bleed out first before he could shoot himself? Suddenly, he heard someone, or something bang on the door. It sounded louder than a fist. Sonic's eyes were fixed on the door as something kept pounding on the door. Until he realized it was a battering ram. Someone had called the police. The door busted open and 3 policemen stepped in with batons drawn, running at Sonic. With insane adrenaline, Sonic lurched himself forward and grabbed the gun. He shot one of the policeman in the hip as he fell to the ground instantly. The other policemen drew their guns and fired, and shot Sonic in his other leg. Sonic screamed in more pain and agony as shot the other two police officers point blank in the face, then they both died. Astonished at what happened, Sonic realized he needed to get out of the apartment. He heard more people coming down the hallway, he knew it was more police. Being handicapped now, he managed to crawl to the window. He looked behind him as the running footsteps got closer and closer. It was now or never. He looked at the window, gulping at the drop below. He didn't even have to shoot himself. This would kill him. He looked behind him, as the police finally arrived. He fired a couple shots into the squad of police, who shot back as he hoisted himself out the window, barely missing. As Sonic fell out the window, he looked back at the street he was coming closer and closer to and smiled. It would finally happen. He dropped his gun as he was falling, finally free. Suddenly, he hit the ground. To Sonic's disappointment, he didn't die. His legs were already shot open, and he had just broke them when he hit the ground. Sonic was furious. There was almost nobody on the street either. He looked for his gun on the street, but he couldn't find it. Where did it go? He looked back up at the window, to find the police looking back at him. He smiled and waved, yelling "SHOOT ME!" The policeman just walked away. It was a long, lonely night for sonic.
