Klance One-shot

           

 

Lance's POV

            I wandered the castle looking for something to do. Pidge and Hunk were busy inventing something I couldn't really understand. Allura and Coran were checking the castle's systems, and Shiro was napping. I'd settled on finding Keith and seeing if he wanted to do something with me.

            I heard loud clashing up ahead and smiled to myself," Of course he's training," I sped up as I walked towards the training room. I pushed to door open and stepped inside. Keith stood in the middle of the room. He was without his usual jacket and his hair was in a pony tail. His swung his bayard with impressive speed and accuracy. Keith looked good with his hair up and out of his face. His jaw seemed more pronounced and I could see his beautiful purple eyes clearly.

            The simulation ended, and I walked over to him," As much as I hate admitting this, that was pretty impressive."

            He jumped and gasped," Lance!" He turned to face me," How long have you been there?"

            I shrugged," Not long. I hadn't realized your hair had gotten so long," I wacked his pony tail so that it swung.

            He rubbed the back of his neck," Yeah, I should probably cut it."

            "No!" I blurted and felt my cheeks turned red," Uh I mean, it uh it suits you."

            "I thought you hated my hair," Keith smirked and took a step closer.

            "I didn't," I shook my head," Sure I used to call you mullet, but it never was a mullet. I was just embarrassed.

            "Oh?" Keith was really close now I could see the bobby pins keeping his bangs up," And what made you so embarrassed?

            "I uh, um," I didn't know how to respond. I didn't want to tell him the truth.

            "Were you, perhaps, embarrassed because you thought I was hot," He was way too close. I could feel his warm breath on my face as I looked down at him. He leaned forward," Did you want to run your fingers through my hair while you kissed me?"

            "Yes," I admitted and softly pressed my lips to his. His lips were chapped and his hands rough when they touched my face. I wrapped my arms around his waist. All too soon we broke the kiss.

            "I think your cute too," Keith smiled, and I couldn't help but laugh and pull him into another gentle kiss.

"Ew! Get a room," Pidge's voice rang through the room and we quickly broke apart. Standing there was Pidge, Coran, Allura, Shiro, and Hunk.

            "Well you two certainly have bonded," Coran grinned.

            "Uhhh," I rubbed the back of my neck my face red.

            "Does this mean I don't have to listen to Keith gush about you anymore?" Shiro smirked.

            "Shiro!" Keith buried his face in his hand and we all laughed," Come on we're having a meeting."

            "Ok," I smiled and offered Keith my hand," Coming, Mullet."

            Keith chuckled and accepted my hand," You love my hair."

            "Yes, yes I do." I smiled, and we headed to the meeting hall hand in hand.
