The highest test score of his class. Ian did it, once again. But he didn't feel successful about it He just stared at the bulletin board, where everyone's scores were posted, and he didn't feel good about himself at all. He wanted to feel proud of himself, he usually was. If he had to describe himself in one word, it would be cocky. But today... He was feeling a bit off.
That's how things had been lately though, he felt empty. Bored. He didn't understand why. He had plenty of people around him to keep him entertained but they weren't entertaining him, h had plenty of guys at his disposal if he wanted sex, but it just felt like something was missing. Maybe he needed someone new.
The bell rang loudly, pulling Ian from his thoughts and bringing him back to reality. It was the second bell and he was late. He sighed and walked down the hall along with the few stragglers who hurriedly walked to their classes.
