Chapter 2

Many Hours Later-

I woke up in a ball on my bed, freezing cold, laying on top of the blankets, and feeling very hungry.

I got up and found an open packet of lollies on my desk which I began to munch on as I pulled of my clothes dumping them on the floor, then pulling on a singlet and some shorts as I climbed back into bed.

I realised how mad Mum and Dad would be, they might not even let me on Youtube again, I would never be able to watch the Walking Dead now, I thought as I drifted off to sleep.

I woke to the sound of Mum knocking on my bedroom door and asking if we could talk, I looked at my clock and saw it was 7 am, I rolled over, but Mum kept knocking, I was glad my door had a lock.

Soon enough Mum walked away but I heard Dads footsteps and the sound of his electric screw driver, "Stacy of you do not open the door right now we are coming in" Dad said, I ignored him, what was he going to do, talk to me about YouTube again??

I heard dad begin to unscrew the screws on my door,1 , 2, 3, 4, then he stopped.

"I don’t have to do this" he said.

1, 2, 3,4 the door was removed from the hinges and Dad walked over to me, I hadn’t realised it but i had begun to cry.

"Stacy, we are so sorry about last night, we had no idea how much these videos meant to you" Said Mum.

"So honey, please feel free to get up when your ready, we made you breakfast, you must be hungry??" Dad added

'I did feel hungry but I didn’t want to talk, so i will keep quiet' i thought to myself.

"Um but I’m afraid your Mother and I have to go to work now, we have rang your school and given you the day off, I hope you feel better soon" Dad said.

I nodded, wishing they would just leave.

Mum and Dad got up from my bed and walked towards the door "Uh, I will fix this later Dad said as he walked over my bedroom door.

I listened until I heard the front door slam, and Mum and Dads cars began to start up, until i got out of bed, and walked into the lounge room, the letters still sat untouched on the table, and a plate of bacon and eggs sat on the table.

I sat down and ate it, realising how cold i was, i turned on the heater and down sat in front of it with my plate full of food.

After eating it I quickly washed my plate, and checked the time 10.30 am according to our clock.

I wanted to ring Haley, but she was in school, and if I wanted to talk to my parents I would have, I sat in front of the heater again.

A few hours later I found myself in my room sitting on my bed, I grabbed my laptop and turned it on, it was still part way through the video from yesterday. I clicked play, 'hang on a minute, how the hell did I get from Goat Simulator all the way to how to cook Fried Rice??' I thought to myself, 'oh that looks nice I might make it!.

After watching the rest of the video I clicked back to my Sub Box, to find that the next episode of The Walking Dead season 2 had come out.

After watching the entire video, I decided I would watch the whole first season, and the second up until now, and that’s what I did.

it wasn’t until 6pm that my parents got home, Caleb was at a friend’s house, I hadn’t eaten lunch so I decided to tell Mum i washed my dishes already, otherwise she would be mad at me.

(Upcoming Spoiler, if you haven’t already played the Walking Dead season 1 game P.s its different to the show I think, don’t read on, unless you don’t care than feel free.)

I was up to the part where Lee dies, and Clementine gets the choice of killing him before he turns, or not, when Mum opened the front door.

(Spoiler part over :))

"Honey, how are you feeling?" She exclaimed, I realised i was still in my pyjamas and covered up before Dad walked in."

I realise it hasn't been to interesting but I had to start the story here!

Also if you haven't seen the Walking dead game and you don't want to skip a lot of this book, I recommend you go and watch/ play it yourself, even if you don't watch the TV show it has a different story as far as I know, (I don't watch it :)) and I don't think it affects the story if you don't know stuff from the show, it's an amazing series one of my favourite games, and something to watch in your spare time :)

(It's not very gory so don't worry!)
