Standing in line with men who were signing up for the military in war, a young girl waited patiently for the leader to come and pick soldiers. She was becoming impatient. Ugh, why did they have to take so long? she thought.
The leader came out at last. Walking down the line of men, occasionally picking one or two out, he stopped at the girl. What was she doing there? Why was she there? Did she not know that only men could be soldiers?
'Uh, ma'm, only men are allowed to fight.' She looked up at him in shock. The shock was quickly swapped with anger. That's why there are no other women here! Sexist!
'Well goodbye! I'm sure you'll regret your decision! Farewell!'
And with that, Scarlet Marcall left.
