After the fight with that ghost and several other monsters, we had made it to Toriel's house. She was about to go get us, but to her surprise, we were already right in front of her.

"Oh children, why did you stray away from the place that I told you to stay" she said to us checking us for bruises and cuts and realized that we didn't have any " Oh my not a single scratch........impressive, but still that doesn't mean you can just wander off like that you could have gotten hurt or even worse....". She had a grim look on her face as she stated this " Well anywho, Let us go inside children I have a surprise for you" She said opening the door to her nice quaint little home.

" Woah, this place is so big!" I said as I walked around the house "This isn't anything like you'd see on the surface, this is so cool right frisk." Frisk didn't respond, but I could tell that she was awestruck as her seemingly closed eyes scanned the home.

"Oh children this isn't the surprise I intended to give you when you first walked in, but that just means you'll be even more surprised about the actual surprise!" Stated Toriel, her face lit up as she led us to our big surprise. "My children allow me to show you, your new room!" Frisk and I were amazed, the room had two beds a T.V and even a Nintendo Switch!

"Wait, are you sure this is where you want us to stay Mrs.Toriel," I asked her with a suspicious face "It seems too good to be true."

Toriel let out a small laugh as I finished my statement then responded: "Of course it's really your's my children, make yourselves at home!" She smiled at us as the last words came out her mouth like a soft breeze "Wait, is something burning, excuse me, children, I have something to take care of." As Toriel ran off to the kitchen, Frisk and I both sat down on our beds and watched some good old Rick and Morty before passing out on our beds. By the time we woke up next to both of our beds was a piece of what looked like pie, we picked it up and put it in our bags before heading out of our room. We wandered around the house for a bit before seeing Toriel sitting in her chair " Ah children awake from your nap already I see" she smiled softly at us as we walked over to her " There is much I want to show you and teach you, this may come as a surprise to you....but I've always wanted to be a teacher. Well it may not be as surprising as you think but still"

" Well it's not much of a surprise but still its good to know," I said with frisk standing next to me looking down at the floor " Hey frisk is there something wrong," I said as I looked at her worried.

"Well I was just wondering when we would be able to go back home, you know....to the surface," She said to me looking a little worried about what I would say.

" Well-" I said before being cut off by Toriel

" Home.....but this is your home now," She said with a confused look on her face " you have everything that you need right here."

" Huh, this isn't our home, this is just a place to stay for the night right?" I asked confused.

"No my children this is your home," said Toriel sounding much stricter this time than before " Now please stay here, there is something I need to do....." She stormed off down the stairs and into the basement.

" Toriel wait!" Frisk said following the goat down the stairs, and I followed. The path we followed Toriel on looked old and almost undiscovered, it was long and narrow with spider webs in the corners. At the end of the insanely long hallway was Toriel standing in front of the gate. " Toriel what are you doing," Frisk asked her.

" I'm destroying this gate, it leads to the rest of the underground.................so then no one will be able to leave again"

"But why "Frisk asked Toriel completely confused

"To protect you...every human that falls down here meets the same fate.....they come.....they fall.....they DIE," She said her face darkening as tears began to form in her eyes. "Don't you see? them.....ASGORE....will kill you please go back upstairs...."

"Frisk maybe-" I began before Frisk cut me off

"No, we aren't going back, let us go..." she said sternly as Toriel turned to the both of us with a glare.

"Fine......if you really want to leave that badly.....prove to me you are strong enough to survive out there....with the other monsters..." She said as a dark expression rolled across her face. Then suddenly flames surrounded me and Frisk as we frantically tried to dodge the fireballs and blasts she threw at us.

"Toriel! we don't want to fight!" Frisk shouted, however, Toriel completely ignored it continuing to barrage us.

"Please Toriel, can't we solve this some other way?!" I asked before being hit by one of the fireballs. I winced as the flames burned my skin. Not to mention the force of the fireball ramming into my gut knocking the wind outta me. Our attempts to reach out to her were failing, but we kept trying. We knew there was a way for us to get out, there just had to be, it was right through her...finally, we had run out of healing items and were on our last legs...was this the end? would it all end here....my life?.....my Journey?........my family?...not yet. We continued to push through until finally, she caved.

The flames stopped whirling around us and Toriel fell to her knees and said" Please.....don't leave...we can live here... together.....you won't be hurt......please.....just don't go......" tears were streaming down her face

"Toriel......." I stated

"I just....want you to be safe..." She lamented as she quitely cried

"Don't worry, we'll be fine" Frisk reassured her

Quickly she lunged at us for a hug her fur feeling like a very floofy pillow. "Please....be safe," she said letting us go and walking away......
