The child of Chaos

A/N: Natsu's cloak has a type of magic on it so that when he grows in size the cloak gets longer and bigger depending on his size, so if he shrinks the cloak shrinks as well.

Lucy's POV
I woke up due to the sun hitting my face, it's not a good way to start the day because I would much rather get at least another hour of sleep. But i know that isn't going to happen so off to the shower i go!
I got in the shower and immediately the steaming water hit my porcelain skin. Instantly warming up my cold body. I proceeded to take my shower and once i was done I wrapped a fluffy towel around my body and did my beauty routine.
After all that I got dressed and headed to the guild. It was peaceful and every time I walk to the guild I realize how much running away was such a good idea. I finally have a family.

I started thinking about all those memories I've made with fairytail that I didn't realize that I was right in front of the guild doors. Smiling I pushed the door open only to hear shouting.

"GET AWAY FROM ME!" A child screamed, I looked around and noticed Gildarts holding something, more like someone, to the ground. Everyone seemed to be in a state of panic but I just couldn't understand why...that was, until my eyes met beautiful onyx eyes. Not thinking I walked up to Gildarts and the boy and asked, "What's going on?"
Gildarts looked at me and to the boy, he seemed familiar, maybe it's the pink hair? Gildarts tightened his grip on the poor boy and said, "This is Natsu." Upon hearing those three words my eyes widened and I suddenly knew why the boy looked so familiar. "Gildarts." I started as he turned his head to look at me, still holding the child Natsu. "Let him go." I said softly, yet sternly. Gildarts was hesitant at first but nodded and let go of Natsu.
I slowly walked over to Natsu to see him tense up a bit, I crouched down and held my hand out, "Hi, I'm Lucy." I spoke softly and gently, smiling as I looked at him. He seemed to relax so I took it as a good thing.

Natsu's POV

I remember being in the forest and suddenly I wake up and now I'm in this building and everyone is just screaming, this girl with red hair points a sword at me so I did what I do best, fight. And that's what I did, I melted her sword then shot a chaos ball of fire at her, sending her into a wall. After that more of these people kept attacking me but no one was able to touch me, I mean I am the son of Achnologia after all. Until this guy runs into the guild pinning me down. He had copper hair and a cloak. I kept thrashing and yelling trying to get out of his grip, when I locked eyes with a girl. I found myself getting lost in her chocolate orbs but I didn't know why. She then told the man holding me down to let me go, after that she walked towards me and I immediately felt my body tense, but once she introduced herself and held out her hand, I felt myself relax.
"What's your name?" She asked me, her voice was so soft and angelic, it felt as if I was in a trance just by being in her presence. I looked at her hand and placed my much smaller hand in hers. I noticed how soft her hands were.
"Natsu..." I mumble, looking down blushing. She just giggled at me and I snapped my head up to look at her. I looked around and noticed how quiet it got, everyone one looking at us.
"Hello Natsu, how did you get here?" She asked .
"I don't know, I just woke up here" I replied.
"Well this is fairytail, sorry if we scared you, you just scared them." She said looking into my eyes and I felt myself blush again. I nodded and took a step forward, everyone seemed to tense up, but I ignored them and walked even closer until I stopped, looked up at her and asked, "Are you an Angel?" She seemed taken back and blushed but she quickly shook her head and laughed. Man, I love her laugh.
"No I'm not." She said while giggling. "Are you hungry?" She asked after she calmed down, her cheeks now rosy. I nodded as she stood up, her hand still holding mine. She slowly walked up to the bar,with me trailing behind. Everyone was still frozen in their positions, watching every single move we made. I had difficulty getting on the stool but I felt hands under my arms and suddenly I'm in the air and now I'm sitting on the stool. I look behind me and see Lucy smiling. "Get anything you want, my treat" she said. The white haired girl with blue eyes smiled at me but I could tell it was fake, her eyes still held an intense amount of fear. "Spicy chicken" I said looking at the white haired girl. She scrambled off to go prepare the food leaving Lucy and I to sit by ourselves at the bar. After a couple minutes the white haired girl came out with food, she set it down while saying "there ya go!" And I immediately dug in, shoving the food in my mouth.
"Thanks Mira." Lucy said, so that's the girls name, Mira. While I was eating I noticed Lucy staring at me, what did I do? Was there something on my face? I gave her a questioning look and she lightly shook her head and smiled, motioning for me to continue eating. Once I finished Lucy put jewels on the bar.
Lucy's POV
After Natsu had eaten we made our way to a table. Erza and Gray sat at the table with Wendy. I sat down and motioned for Natsu to sit as well. But he didn't sit down on a chair, he sat down on my lap.
That surly surprised everyone.

"It's funny how a little food can make someone happy" Gray said looking at the non threatening Natsu.

I looked down at Natsu and said "it wasn't just food." Everyone at the table seemed confused at what I said. But I didn't dare try to explain that all Natsu needed was a little bit of love.
I noticed Natsu bop his head a little bit, as if he was trying to not fall asleep, I softly smiled and whispered into his ear, "it's okay to go to sleep, I'll wake you up when we will leave." Natsu nodded his small head and fell asleep, I changed his position into one where I sort of cradled him. That was when I noticed how small he was as a child. But when he's 20 years old he's 6'1. The entire guild looked at me and smiled, I guess they're all finally at peace since "chaos" fell asleep.
"Ahem" Master cleared his throat then proceeded to look at the peacefully sleeping Natsu. "I think it's best if you were to take care of him until we figure out what caused this and how we can reverse this." I nodded then smiled down at Natsu, moving a strand of hair out of his face. He smiled at my touch and when I caressed his little cheeks, he leaned into my touch.
"I think you would make a fine mother, Lucy." Erza spoke which caused me to snap my head up and look at her. I immediately felt blood rush to my face and I knew I was probably as red as her hair, or possibly darker. My reaction caused her to lightly laugh as she said, "I think you should take Natsu to your apartment, it's getting late." I nodded and stood up, Natsu resting his head on my shoulder and hugging my neck while he slept.

As I left the guild and walked home in silence, the only thing that was heard was Natsu's soft snores and murmurs and my light footsteps. I didn't walk on the ledge today like I normally would, but right now Natsu is my top priority and I wouldn't want to accidentally fall in the water.

I arrived at my apartment and set Natsu down on my bed, I noticed that the only thing he was wearing was his cloak that shrunk due to magic, I remember him telling me that the cloak had magic so it grew and shrunk depending on his growth. "I'm going to have to buy him some new clothes, I'm pretty sure he has nothing under that cloak and i am not going to check." I said very softly. I went to the bathroom and took a shower, got dressed, and dried my hair. After all that I got into my bed, and held Natsu close to me, kissing the top of his forehead while whispering, "good night" and falling into a deep sleep.
