i quickly look up to see bambam smiling and waving at me intensely from afar.
ive been best friends with him since as long as i remember. he was always there for me, no matter what.
i fake a smile and slightly wave back and brush my hair away from my face.
he starts jogging towards me and reaches his arms out for a hug.
i just stare at him in silence.
he awkwardly lowers them.
"woah! lookin' good today! can i ask you a question?" he asks.
i smile at his compliment and nod at his question.
"sure." i answer.
"what were you doing all the way over there with jaebum?" he points behind me, to the room me and jaebum were in.
i glance behind me to see jaebum chatting with a friend of his just outside the room.
"oh, ahah, i-i don't know.." i lie while awkwardly laughing.
"tsk, don't be lying, ok? sit with us next break. we're in the cafeteria like always." he invites.
us? we're?
"uhh, alright." i answer politely as i begin to walk away, until he grabs my arm gently and i turn around.
"you like jaebum don't you?" he whispers while smiling cheekily.
"hey! no i don't, where did you get that from you moron!" i shout while hitting his shoulder.
i really don't!
he doesn't answer and just laughs at my reaction.
i angrily huff and walk away to my locker, opening it and stuffing my books inside.
we have sports next so i grab my sports uniform and head over to the locker room to change.
i'm met with many girls there.
one of which i recognise.
"yujin!! i missed youuuu!" she yells while giving me a tight hug.
i hug her back softly.
akari has always been one of my favourite friends ever.
she always knew what to do and could fix any mistake easily.
i admired her for that. she was a very talented and gifted girl.
she got all the boys with just one look, she was skinny, she was pretty she has clear skin and was always wearing something put together.
and then theres me.
"hey akari. i missed you too. did you do anything during the break?" i ask while placing my shorts on the bench and picking up my shirt.
she does the same, instead taking her shirt off to reveal her undershirt.
"yeah, actually i did a lot!" she says happily while folding her school blouse.
"what did you do?" i ask as i take off my blouse and quickly put on my sport shirt.
"well, i visited my parents from all the way in japan!! it was so fun there! we went to the city of tokyo and it was sooo cool." she explains, exaggerating her words.
