Crash World (The Vampire Diaries)

When I was 16 my parents were killed by something I never thought existed (a vampire). After the accident I went to live with a foster family (one that my parents had chosen before they died). Two years later I found an old journal in my mom's things and after reading through it I made up my mind. So I drove through the night and now, as the sun starts to rise, I stand at a sign that says "Welcome to Mystic Falls". 'There's no turning back now. I have to know them.' I think

The first place I head is to the school. I want a normal life here. I get my papers filled out and the lady at the front desk tells me I start classes tomorrow. As I walk out the door I bump into a group of girls.

Brittany: I am so sorry. I'm such a cluts.

The girl I knock down takes my hand (which I offered to help her up) and I feel this burst of energy rush through my body. It looks like she felt it too.

Bonnie: Who are you?

Brittany: Oh. I'm Brittany Ash, and you are?

Bonnie: Well I'm Bonnie Bennett and these are my friends Caroline Forbes and Elena Gilbert.

Elena: Oh that's the bell. We better get going. It was nice meeting you Brittany.

The hallway is so full and in all the rush of the students trying to get to one class or another I run into someone else.

Brittany: Ugh this is a new record for me. Twice in 5 minutes. I'm sorry.

Stefan: No big deal. I wasn't watching where I was going.

Brittany: It's completely fine. It's usually me not paying attention and being a extreme clusts ha ha.

Stefan: I'm Stefan by the way.

Brittany: Brittany

I take his hand in greeting and when we touch I feel something strange. It's like pain and death but at the same time it feels like I can trust him.
