"Cheers!", everyone shouted as we all clinked our glasses of various drinks. "Happy birthday Peyton!", everyone cheered. It was my 23rd birthday and I felt like I was on top of the world. I was surrounded by my amazing friend group and my even more amazing boyfriend. My boyfriend, Mason, cooked my favorite foods and ordered a beautiful cake from my favorite bakery. He was such a sweetheart and he made me feel like a princess. I worked a full shift today and while I was at work my friends decorated my apartment. There were rose gold and white balloons everywhere. There were streamers and a gigantic banner that read " Happy Birthday Peyton!" You could tell they put so much time and effort into it and I couldn't feel more grateful for them all.
"Pey blow out the candles!", Madison told me. "Yeah make a wish cutie." Kennedy exclaimed. I closed my eyes and wished that I could stay in this moment for forever. The candles went out and I was ready to slice into my favorite chocolate cake. The rest of the night was filled with dancing, laughing, and it was one of the best nights on my life.
