"now, the baby is perfectly fine. healthy, growing steadily and at a normal pace." somi begins, setting down in front of the couple.

tae smiles happily, intertwining his and yoongi's fingers together.
placing his other hand on his own swollen tummy, rubbing soft circles.

"but." she says softly, not wanting to scare the couple who's already happy to the brim.

as soon as that word escapes her lips, their eyes snap towards somi, holding fear.

"o-oh no! please don't be scared!" she adds, frantically waving her hands around.

the couple still stares at somi.

"i'm just going to explain the process of you giving birth to him."

tae and yoongi let out loud sighs of relief, looking at each other in so much hope.

"please d-do explain. i-i'm so scared somi." tae pouts, gripping yoongi's hand tightly.

"alright, so, you'd be going through something called a c-section. it's where we will make an incision at the base of your belly for you to push the baby out." somi says.

tae's eyes widen, his brain processing each and every word that leaves her lips.
he nods as if he's in a trance.

"it will hurt for quite a while after giving birth,  and a scar will be left behind. but, i'll will eventually fade." somi ends with a smile.

tae nods, pleased at what she had said.
after explaining a few more details as well as an estimate of the date, the trio stand up.

"thank you somi!" tae giggles, hugging her.

"of course taehyung oppa, yoongi oppa." somi giggles as well, hugging back and patting yoongi's arm lightly.

"we'll see you soon somi, thank you." yoongi smiles as the couple exit the room, yoongi holding onto the envelope as well as tae.

as soon as the door closes, the brunette falls onto her office chair, her heating beating rapidly against her rib cage.

"wow, still can't believe i'm friends with them." she whispers in disbelief to herself.
