3. Little wolf

Dalgi's POV

For the rest of the Sunday it's the normal routine in the daycare center.

Parents come to pick up their children, new children arrive and for the ones who are living here, couples come to visit in order to maybe adopt them in the future.

The adoption thing only happens on Sundays, for the rest of the week the normal routine continues and we, the ones who work here, take care of the children.

It's currently 5 in the afternoon and the sun is already setting.

I groan slightly when I feel a sting of pain in my back.. that's what you get from carrying around children.

"Damn.. I sure don't have to work out anymore", I mumble and walk inside.

I wrap myself in a nice warm sweater and put on my comfy shoes, it's the perfect weather for a walk in the forest.

"Going somewhere?".

I turn around and smile when I see it's Jimin.

"Yeah, I'm going for a short walk in the forest. Want to join me?".

He nods and puts on a jacket and shoes as well.

"Shall we?", he smiles warmly and gestures me to go first.

We then go outside and take our usual route. In the beginning it stays silent between us, not the kind that's awkward but the peaceful one.

"Do you really have to go back tonight?", Jimin suddenly breaks the silence.

I let out a soft chuckle and grab onto his arm as I lean into his side.

"Come on, you know I have too, if I could I would stay here", I smile and stroke his arm.

"I know, It's just.. I really want to hear more about your trip to America.. You were gone for six months to study abroad and I- I just need more time with you than this one day", he whines.

I laugh and lay my head on his shoulder, "Aawh, I missed you too my mochi~".

I really did, I'm glad you're still here for me.

We become quiet again and continue our walk with only the sounds of the forest for us to listen to.

It makes me sink into thought.

T'ill this day, I still wonder what would've happened to us if I never dated you.. or even didn't go to your place that day..

I sigh.

It all started when we were younger. Jimin used to hang out with Tae and me. The three of us went to the same high school in Busan and soon it was clear that Jimin had a crush on me..

I've never had a boyfriend before.. so I asked Taehyung for advice, since he was Jimin's friend.

Of course Tae had it all planned out for us, he was the ultimate wingman! He arranged dates for us and made sure everything was perfect.

So three weeks of dating passed and Jimin finally asked me to be his girlfriend.

At first it all felt like a dream! Everything was exactly how I had imagined a relationship to be.
