I opened the doors of my school. Walking through the halls, I had to remember to always keep my head down low. I don't want to make eye contact, I don't know why, but I'm scared to make eye contact.

The only person that I talk to is my best friend, Peter. I've known him since elementary school. But we became friends in 6th grade. We're both seniors this year, and we're still friends. He always tries to take me to parties, hoping I can make new friends. But I don't like parties. I find them kind of intimidating.

I walked into my first class, math, and I practically ran to my seat in the back of the class. 'Good morning Ms. Johnson' is what I said when I sat down. Ms. Johnson laughed 'Good morning Haley, I see you're excited for this lesson?'. I gave her a weak 'I guess' and I patiently waited for Peter to arrive.

After a few minutes Peter walked into the classroom. I immediatly smiled 'Hey sister, I saved you a seat.' I pointed at the table next to me. Peter smiled ' Yes you better.'. Peter sat down 'Haley, look at what Grace is wearing.'. I looked at the left side of the classroom and saw Grace in a mini skirt with a white blouse. 'I genuinely wonder how she never gets dress-coded.' I said to Peter while laughing.

10 minutes into the lesson I looked at the door of the classroom. A blue-eyed boy walked in. Ms. Johnson stopped in the middle of her sentence and said 'Well mister Seavey, late again?' . Daniel came late to class almost every day. He gave ms. Johnson a weak smile and walked to the table next to his best friend, Josh. They were quite the popular guys. But I have never cared about those people.

'Haley, can you solve this calculation on the board for me?' ms. Johnson said pointing at the calculation on the board. I walked to the front of the class and I heard Peter whisper 'Don't faint sweetie.'. I looked him in his eyes and lipsynced 'fuck you'.

I was solving the calculation but I didn't understand it at all. So of course I messed it up really bad. 'Haley, you can go back to your seat, I'll solve it.' ms. Johnson smiled. While I was walking back to my seat I saw Grace looking at me disgusted. Grace was literally mine and Peter's enemy. When I sat down peter sarcastly applaused me. 'Oh fuck off Peter, you know how bad I am at math.' I laughed.

After a few classes it was finally lunch time. I don't have all of my classes with Peter, but luckily we do have lunch together. So I walked to our usual table. He was already sitting there. The first thing he said was 'Haley in my science class I heard some people talking about the football game that's happening this week on Friday.'.

I immediatly said 'No Peter, I'm not going to the game with you.'. Peter sighed 'Haley, you are gonna come to the game with me, I'm tired of going to parties and football games without you, I need my bestfriend with me to have fun.'. I stayed quiet for a few seconds before I said 'I'll think about it.'. Peter immediatly smiled from ear to ear 'Finally, jeez, I promise it will be fun!'.

That evening while I was eating dinner I said 'Mom, I'm going to the football game with Peter this Friday.'. My sister laughed 'Yes, it was about time, you're the definition of a loner.'. Sophie is really annoying. She has the same personality as Grace. Well, she's not as bad as Grace but I have to live in the same house as Sophie, so it's just as bad. 'Sophie, please shut your 14 year old ass up, you don't have to act like you're the shit. Because honey, you're not.' I said with a fake smile. My dad spoke 'Haley language.'. Whatever....

That night, when I was laying in bed, I got stressed as hell. What have I done. I have to go to a football game tomorrow. That means that all of the popular people are there, and just the rest of the school.....
