CHAPTER THREE - First day?

Okay! It's the first day of college and iam nervous as hell. Standing outside the massive college building , i can feel sweat running down my forehead.

I shouldn't be this nervous... nothing bad is gonna happen right?

Go for it Naina!

Gathering every ounce of courage , I walk towards the building watching students busy in their own conversations. As I step inside everyone stops...every freaking human just stops turning their attention to me.

Like what the hell?

Gulping down my saliva I try to walk past them but my foot gets stuck into something which seems kinda sticky and slippery to me. I look down shocked to the fact that my foot is engulfed in some sort of animal dung.

Ewww !! How the hell did it get here?
Like inside a college from all the places?

Every one is watching me with their lips sealed as if trying to control their laughter. Ignoring the stares I try to step out of it slipping my foot in the process and landing myself in that smut ruining my clothes. And that's when everyone bursts into ear cracking laughter which results in me crying silently.

'Quite everyone !' some guy shouts among the crowd and takes few steps towards me.

'This isn't the right way to treat someone like her....' he bends a little forward giving me a close look of his perfect face instantly making me forget everyone around us.

Extending his hand towards me, he waits for me to hold it as everyone watches in silence.

With an increasing heartbeat i grab his hand and try to getup and that's when he completes his sentence 'this is the right treatment. ' he smirks and instead of tightening his grip he lets go of my hand making me fall down on that dirt for the second time of the day.

The whole crowd erupts into huge fits laughter and the guy joins them mocking me.

'The stupid nerd fell for it' sneered a blonde placing her hand on the guy's chest and kisses him on his lips claiming him as hers.

The crowd cheers as she does that.

The guy kisses her back.

The blonde blushes.

Aaaand me?

I cannot put a name on the feeling iam getting right now. You know that feeling when you want the earth to swallow you completely so that you could just disappear. That's my situation right now. I want to scream and shout but my voice is stucked in my throat.

"she's got four eyes still couldn't see clearly where she was walking" someone scoffs.

These nicknames are back.

I break down completely as i couldn't take it anymore.
To top it all they started chanting 'speccy' in unison.

I never felt so helpless in my entire life... so humiliated and so embarrassed. Iam suddenly feeling suffocated as if the air is being squeezed out of my body ,my head is hurting so bad and visions gets blurry to such an extent when everything is completely blacked out.

I open my eyes and feel myself lying on a comfortable bed . With my heart racing rapidly and my forehead sweating I look around the room but the familiarity of the room confuses me because It is my own bedroom , how did i get here? on my own bed- the top one? When I look down at the sleeping forms of my sisters I realise the incident didn't happen in actuality. It was a dream.

A nightmare to be specific.

I reach for my mobile phone which shows the time 6:11 am and I sigh. What am I supposed to do now?
There's still too much time for the classes to start . And both my sisters are asleep what do i do now!
