Chapter 4: Connor, isn't free?

~~Connor's point of view~~

"Why did you follow us," Connor thinks to himself as you lay in the back of the car still out cold.

Connor looks over to hank.

"Are you ok Lieutenant?" Connor asks his voice still a little cold with no feelings.

"Why do you want to keep it alive?"

"I...Don't really know, I just feel like I should"

Connor looks out of the window into the road.

Connor's L.E.D turns yellow as his eye twitches.

"I just got a report of a suspected deviant, it's a few blocks away. We should go and have a look."

~~Your point of view~~

You start to wake up to someone shaking you.

"Hey deviant, you need to get up, we have a mission to do, and I trust you enough to help." You open your eyes to see Connor.

you nod and get up, out of the car, scanning where you were before following Connor and Hank.

You all get into a lift and go down.

The lift stops at a floor and everyone gets out.

"What do we know about this guy," Hank asks

"not much, just that a neighbour reported that he heard strange noises coming from this floor" Connor replied.

"Nobody's meant to be living here but the neighbour said he saw a man hiding an L.E.D under his cap. " Connor added.

"Oh Christ, if we have to investigate every time someone hears a strange noise, we're gonna need more cops," Hank says to the news.

They walk over to a door, you follow behind.

Connor starts knocking on the door, over and over, till we hear a bang.

Hank pushes you both back and kicks the door open with his gun up next to his face.

He kicks in other doors as you and Connor walk inside, a bunch of pigeons fly out.

You and the others walk inside and look around for anything which will tell you who was here.

Connor walks up to a hole in and roof, looking up. Someone jumps down, knocking Connor to the floor and you into a wall.

He runs out of the room as fast as he can as Connor, you and Hank chase after him.

It runs out of the building, Connor chasing it, you and Hank following far behind.

You both lose sight of Connor as he climbs on a roof.

You help hank get on to the roof, before climbing on yourself.

You both find Connor and the Deviant on a train top before following behind them the safe way.

Hank pulls his gun out.

"STOP RIGHT THERE" the Android pushes him off the building, hank grabbing the edge, Connor runs after the deviant.

You grab Hanks hand and pull him up onto the roof, you and him following after Connor.

The deviant jumps off of the roof, Connor standing there looking down.

Connor turns to you both.

"I'm sorry I didn't catch it, I should have been faster."

You run to Connor and hug him.

"It's fine Connor you did your best" you say, squeezing him.

Hank sighs

"Let's just go to the car, Connor and...We never asked your name, What is it?"

"(Y/N)" you replied to Hank.

"(Y/N), Thank you for helping me, but we should get back to the car"

You all walk back to his car.
