I sighed softly, sipping my cup of tea, and sitting on the balcony of my apartment. It was very nearly finished, and later today, the spells that expanded it would be done, which would allow the interior decorators free reign.

The builder who had escorted me up the elevator cleared his throat. "Uhm... m'lord... we need to get out, now. The mages is comin' to do their job."

"Yes, and we mustn't get in the way, I'm aware... you may go. I intend to exit in style." I smirked, and stood on the railing, letting my cloak flap open, then simply leapt off, laughing wildly.

My coat caught the wind at my command, and I was soon gliding through the sky around the tower. I waved to Caroline, and laughed softly at the pathetic whimpering of the princess she was currently training, as she waved back happily, then barked at the girl 'trade that whining for working!!! I want thirty more lifts of that bar, now!!!'

I chuckled, and swooped down, landing on the ground and letting my cloak go slack again. I pulled up the hood, and slipped into an alleyway. When I was sure I was alone, I whispered the spell to go invisible, and then opened the sewer grate, shimmying in and closing it silently.

I made my way along the paths the map had shown me, the one that the wood-Elf Thief had drawn us. When I reached the end, I stood in front of a sign, attached to a large wooden wall, reading 'The Wet Rat, Tavern 'n Brothel'. There was no way around, so I opened the door, and ignored the several weapons pointed at me instantly.

I made my way over to the bar, and dropped the invisibility, sitting on a stool. "Whiskey, if you have anything older than a decade. Don't bother, otherwise." I sighed.

The bartender snorted. "Don't know who you are, friend-"

"If you don't know me, we are not friends. Now get me that drink, while I wait for your boss!" I narrowed my eyes.

He held up his hands. "Alright, Alright... easy, there. Got sixty-year gin, that work?"

I shrugged. "Gin is good, if you've also got the tonic that goes with it."

He nodded and mixed the drink, sliding it towards me. Before he could ask for money, I slid a silver Noble across the bar. Several people looked at me, and I gazed back, casually letting my eyes glow until they turned their attentions back to their own business.

"Well... a new face... that's very rare, down here. Tell me, friend, who are you?" A friendly voice asked behind me.

"A customer, hopefully." I nodded.

"Oh? And what would you like to purchase?" He chuckled.

"Information. Someone paid you lot to have my family and I attacked and kidnapped, went through a Bard to do so. I don't hold a grudge against you, don't worry... I want the Client." I turned and dropped my hood, staring the Human man in the face.

He hummed. "I'm sure I have no idea why you mean."

"I'm sure that if I torture each and every one of you, someone will. But that would be a waste of a good group of potential allies, and customers." I said dryly.

He raised an eyebrow. "I'm listening?"

"You're aware of my tower? And it's Casino?" I asked.

"Ahh, yes... a beautiful building." He smiled.
