Optimus had always cared for Bumblebee since the beginning, since he was basically his sire to him. Remembering that one day on Cybertron still made his spark flutter.
That one fateful day, which seemed to happen as only days ago, Megatronus walked a narrow street back to the arena. Then he heard a faint whimper. He lifted up a cloth blanket to find a small, yellow sparkling. His blue optics seemed to have lead him to another dimension. He picked up the little sparkling with his overpowering but delicate hands, and headed back the way he came. To Orion.
Megatronus opened the berth rooms door, to find Orion quietly researching, at his desk. When he saw Megs, he was happy to see him, but confused. Had it already been more than what seemed to be 15 minutes ago? Then he saw the little package, wrapped in cloth. Megs spoke softly, "Will you promise to take care of this for me, please." Orion still confused, "what do you mean? Show me." Megatronus showed Orion the little sparkling, the sparklings eyes gleamed so brightly in the light. The sparkling smiled and cooed, making Orion quickly grab the child and rocked him back and forth. From that day on, Orion, now Optimus, was that little sparklings caretaker.
