"Caroline, don't be miserable," they all always said. What was the point? Caroline thought. Not that they could understand anyway. All they ever no is happiness. They would never understand. But Caroline pulled her hips back, trying to look strong. It was for the sake of the monarchy. The safety of her kingdom. "I'm fine." She used to insit, dismissing them. But deep down, she knew that she isn't fine. She knew she never be like one of them. She would never be normal. What's the point of pretending? She used to wonder. Well now she knew the point. If she told anyone, even her mom, they would just look at her sweetly, and say; "It's fine honey," and walk away.
