Healing a broken heart (Greenflames)

Chapter 2, Brother advice.

Kai's POV

As I finished pouring the water into 2 glass I was careful not to spill as I walk to Lloyd's door giving a knock.

"Who is it." Lloyd question.

"It's me, Kai can I come in."

"Ah Sure I guess."

I opened the door placing both cups on the desk that was near Lloyd. I sighed as i see Lloyd back facing towards me.

"Hey Buddy is everything ok?" I question to Lloyd.

Lloyd turned around so our eyes met. He sat up and started to cry.

"N-no e-everything n-no-not ok, it-it-it's m-my fault."

I sat down next to him pulling him into a hug. "Shhh, it's ok, I'm here." I said playing with his hair. We sat like this till Lloyd stopped crying.

Lloyd's POV

I cried into Kai's shoulders, he kept me warm as he and I shared a hug, for some reason I don't want this to end it made me feel comfortable and safe. After a while I stopped crying but tears still fell down my eyes. I heard Kai sighed as he broke the hug and forced me to look at him.

"Wanna tell me all your problems." Kai said as I still stayed still not daring to move.
"You know I'm here for you." Kai said again, his tone filled worried. I sighed and I told him everything, my problems, how I feel, how Harumi lied and used me, all types of those stuff. "It's all my fault." I said to Kai.

"No it's not." Kai said. "Your just walking through the path of life, it's like a game, there are challenges we need to face and sometimes we cannot do it alone." Kai said. I was speechless, he was right, life is like a game, we cannot quit until we make it to the end. I sighed. "Your right." I said as Kai broke the hug.
"I know" Kai said as he handed me a glass of water which I took and drank till there was none left. Kai watch the whole time not saying anything.

"Thank you" I said smiling to him, he smiled back.
"It's getting late I should go" Kai said standing up, for some reason I didn't want him to leave.

"Wait Kai" I said as I use both my hands and grabbed one of his hands. "Could you stay with me, just for tonight." I blushed trying to hide it.

Kai said nothing he just smiled and pushed me so that I laid down before he could do the same next to me. However I still blushed in embarrassment to what I said to Kai. He put the cover over use and I started to feel constantly safe and cozy as warmth touch my body but I wasn't sure if it was Kai using his powers on me or if it was something else.
