And there they walked, next to each other down the halls of the Derry High. Smiles on their lips. Their heart beating. Richie felt butterflies in his stomach every time he turned to look at Eddie. They blushed when their hands brushed agains each other one in a while.And He couldn't believe, that he was turning soft for the shorter boy.
They laughed. They smiled. They felt like there were just them in the world. No one else. And Richie knew, that he liked the one and only Eddie Kaspbrak. The boy that he had always hated.
