Noah's POV

I was walking on the hallway where my locker is.Millie was there.Her locker is next to mine.It's been like that since we started high school and,also,our lockers were on the same hallway when we were on middle school.It's like even fate wants us to be friends.

-Hey,Mills!

She turned around,having a bright smile on her face.

-Hi,Noah!she answered and high-fived me.

-What's up?

-Did you hear about that dance the school is gonna have that's called "Welcome Spring Dance" or something?

-Oh,yeah...It's gonna be after the spring break,right?

-Yes!

-And...um...why are you so excited anyway?

To be honest,I felt like I already knew the answer.

-Because...she started saying.Finn might go there too,and if he doesn't have someone to dance with at some point,I could act like I don't have a date either,so he would dance with me for,at least,one song!Isn't that great!

Millie's voice snaped me back to reality.

-Noah?Noah,are you there?
Is everything ok?

-Oh,yeah!Sorry!I just remembered something my mom asked me to do after school.

-Oh,ok.I'm happy you're fine,she said and patted me on my shoulder.

She then looked at her watch.

-Oh my God,we gotta go to class!

-Right!We have maths,don't we?

-Yes.I used to like maths in primary and middle school,but now they're getting really boring.Maybe it's because of our teacher.

-Same,I think even that guy itself would rather be somewhere else now instead of teaching maths to a bunch of dumb high school kids.

-Yeah,true!

-Anyway,do you want to walk with me to class?

When we finally sat on our desks and the teacher came,he was accompanied by a guy around our age.He must be a new one here.
