Short Story: Behir

Part 1

Scene 1:

(Sehgal Mansion)

It's 11 P.M. Bela entered her bedroom upstairs after finishing her kitchen chores.

Bela: I am not going to tolerate this Mahir anymore. What does he think of himself? Today, I'll punish him for what he had done. I will punish him for his misdeeds no matter what he says. He won't be able to make me fool this time with his innocent eyes and puppy face.

On the other side, Mahir is returning from his office. He had a very important meeting today. He had managed to bag the best investors for an important project. He worked so hard to crack this deal. He had been working like a possessed person from last 15 days. He was so engrossed in the work, that he didn't get time to look at himself. He is really tired. Now, he just wants to reach home early and be with Bela.

When he reached to their bedroom, he saw angry Bela staring at him. He started to think, what made his wife so angry. But soon he engrossed to admire her. Her beautiful and expressive eye, her long eyelashes, Her cute red nose and perfect rosy lips. Now his full concentration on her lips and wants a kiss from her. Now, he realized how much he missed her. But, wait there is a continuous movement of her lips. Is she saying something? and he is not listening to her at all. Within a second, he saw something is flying towards him one after other. Yes, those are pillows thrown by Bela. Mahir gets shocked due to the sudden attack.

Mahir: Aaaah!Bela, why are you hitting me with the pillow? What I have done?

Bela: What? You even don't know what you have done(sarcastically). That's Great Mr Mahir Sehgal.

Bela: You snatched my peace from me and you are asking me what you have done. Today I'm going to kill you.

Mahir: At least could you please tell me what I have done wrong?

Bela: Mr Mahir Sehgal, you may have forgotten where are you standing now.

Mahir: No. I know, it's our Bedroom Bela.

Bela: Correct. This is our Bedroom and look around and see what you have done with it.

Mahir looked around him. saw his files, his things are everywhere on the table, on the bed. He was so busy that he forgot to keep his things on its place. The Bedroom is super messy. Bang. Now he understood, why his wife is super angry. She has OCD and she is super strict with cleanliness. She made this thing clear with Mahir, that she wants everything in perfect order in their bedroom. He followed her orders till now. But, from last 15 days, he forgot to keep things in its place. Every day, Bela being a good wife, kept his things at its place as he was busy. But every time, she has reminded him about keeping things at its place next time.

Today, she was so busy for the whole day as Sumi ma has invited her friends for dinner. She genuinely wanted to make it perfect. So she worked the whole day to make everything perfect for them. But, she was unaware of the condition of her Bedroom due to Mahir as he scattered papers, clothes, his files all around the room. She wanted to relax because it was a hectic day for her. When she came to their bedroom after completing kitchen chores, she lost her cool due to the condition of their bedroom.

Mahir: I am sorry Bela....I am really really sorry (Mahir said with his puppy face). I forgot. But next time I will definitely remember it.

Bela: No... Bela ignored him

Mahir: Sorry Bela...... Give me any punishment...I am ready for punishment.....(He thought she will ask him to clean the room)

Bela: Okay...on one condition....You can not say no to my punishment.

Mahir: yes. I will do anything.

Bela: Okay. you will be sleeping on the Sofa tonight.

Mahir: What? No.

Bela: You can't say no. You will remember, only after getting the punishment.

Mahir: Okay.

He made the sad face, How can he sleep without her. He can't let this happen. An idea came into his mind.

Bela: Now don't waste time. Go and change. I will clean this mess.

Bela cleaned the room and kept the things the way she wanted. Mahir has the plan in his mind. He went to the Bathroom and took a quick shower. He came outside only in the towel wrapped around his waist. Bela turned around to tell the Mahir that she made his sleeping arrangement on the Sofa. Bela breath hitched as she saw him. Her eyes travelling all over his body. Mahir enjoyed her reaction. He knew Bela also missed him from past 15 days. He had been coming very late to sleep and she had been sleeping at that time. Now, she wants to feel him again. Mahir approaches Bela and starts to close the distance between them.

Mahir: Thanks, Bela... Thanks for the sleeping arrangement(he said this in the ear in the husky voice).

He lightly kisses her on her ear. Bela was already hypnotized. She reciprocates every action of Mahir. Mahir enjoyed every action of her. Soon she surrendered herself to him. She totally forgot about the punishment.
