~~Elizabeth's P.O.V~~ Once Shadow and I were finished packing, Vikk and Lachlan walked us down the stairs where Rob was signing some final paperwork and some 17-year-old girl was hitting on Mitch. I literally wanted to kill her, but I decided against it.
She was grossing me out, so I turned away and gripped my backpack strap harder. Eventually, I couldn't take it and even Shadow was getting mad. Jerome, of course, was the angriest of us all, but he was decently mature. I was definitely not.
"Hey, idiot! Before you hit on someone, you should get to know the next time, because this one's taken by a handsome bacca." I scoffed. Shadow laughed and Jerome smiled, pulling Mitch close. The girl's face dramatically darkened and she walked away. I smirked as Mitch cuddled into Jerome's chest with a light blush dusting over his cheeks.
"Thanks." Mitch chuckled.
"Anytime Benja," I whispered.
"Alright! Are you guys ready to go?" Robert asked.
"YES!" I squealed.
"I am so ready to leave." Shadow laughed.
"Same." Jerome grinned, causing us all to laugh. We walked towards the door, but before we walked out, Shadow and I stopped in our tracks. The Pack turned around and looked at us questioningly, while we smiled at each other.
We had planned something our whole lives, and we almost forgot about it. We both turned around to face the orphanage. Shadow cleared her throat.
"We've lived here for so long, and we're finally leaving." She spoke to everyone in the orphanage.
"And since we might never see you guys again, we just wanted to say..." I trailed off, looking like I was going to cry.
"SEE YOU NEVER PLEBS!!" We both yelled at the same time. Then we ran out the door to the Pack and closed the door behind us. We all started laughing as we got in the car, which had 9 seats.
"That was amazing!!" Preston laughed.
"That was beautiful!!" Lachlan exclaimed. Shadow mockingly bowed as we hopped into the large car. Rob was driving, Preston had called shotgun, Shadow was behind Rob, I was behind Preston, Vikk was sitting behind Shadow, Lachlan was sitting behind me, Mitch was behind Vikk, and Jerome was sat next to Mitch.
"So, tell us more about you guys!" Jerome said excitedly.
"Our last name is Latsky," Shadow replied sarcastically.
"We're fangirling on the inside." Shadow continued.
"That's her way of saying 'Help, we're dying inside.'" I laughed.
"So do you guys play MC?" Mitch asked.
"Yep! I'm CeratedFish24, and Shadow is ShadowDemon57!"
"I feel like I know those names somewhere..." Preston said.
"Wow, you remember us?" Shadow asked, clearly surprised.
"What?" Preston blinked, dumbfounded.
"We poked your teammate off a cliff in Team Bed Wars last year," I replied innocently.
"Why?" Preston chuckled.
"HE WAS TAKING MY BUDDER!! NO ONE TAKES MY BUDDER!!" I shrugged.
"It's true. No one takes her budder. Not even me." Shadow agreed. 25 minutes of talking later, we arrived at the Pack Household, and Rob pulled into the driveway. Shadow and I knew pretty much what to expect since we had watched so many of the Pack's vlogs.
The rather modern house was bigger than I imaged, and it was difficult to believe that I was actually here. We got out of the car and Mitch grabbed my suitcase, while Jerome grabbed Shadows.
"You ready? I'll show you to your rooms." Preston said.
"Y-yeah." I stuttered, taking it all in. I was soon dragged into the house by Preston with Shadow laughing and following us inside. We ran straight up a flight of stairs and into a large room. I gasped when I saw the room. "Is this mine or Shadow's?"
"All yours, since your favourite colour is blue and all," Preston replied.
The room had a blue theme to it, and blue is just my favourite colour of all time. My bed had blue sheets with a thick white blanket on top and 2 fluffy pillows. Next to my bed were a small white circle shaped table and a white dresser. On the wall next to the bed was another, thinner, white table. There were three large glass windows with pretty white, blue, and grey curtains and under one of the windows were 2 white and blue bean bags. A cute, small, white closet with a rectangular mirror on the door sat next to the baggy chairs, and next to the closet was a large blue chair, which would be perfect for a Q&A video. On the chair were two light blue cushions and the walls were a pastel blue, while the carpet was a teal colour.
I hugged the pleb hard, and after a few seconds of shock, he hugged me back. I let him go and started jumping around.
"OKAY, NOW WE HAVE TO SEE SHADOW'S ROOM! WHERE IS IT?!" I asked incredibly loudly and excitedly. Then again, this is me we're talking about. That was pretty normal.
"It's right next to yours!" Preston laughed.
"OK!!" I yelled. I did a few little hops to the next room and kicked the door open. As soon as Shadow saw her new room, her smile immediately turned into a gasp of awe.
The walls were white like the tiled floor, which had a small plum carpet laying on it. The frame of the bed and the blanket were amethyst, but the pillow and sheets were white. To the right of the bed was a small, violet bed stand with a cute purple and white lamp sitting on top of it.
Next to the lilac stand was a moderately sized window that had white, almost clear, curtains. Neighbouring the window, was a purple coat hanger with the word "kiss" in big, purple letters, and above the bed were 3 lavender shelves.
"I. Love. It!" Shadow exclaimed, giving Preston a big hug. I took a step back in shock, for Shadow never hugged anyone other than me, but I was glad that she was learning to trust people a little more easily.
Preston gladly hugged back quickly, seemingly expecting it after I had hugged him. Mitch and Jerome, with the rest of the Pack behind them, ran up the stairs with our possessions at the same time and ended up falling on top of each other, causing us all to laugh. I have a feeling that we're going to be really happy with our new, amazing family.
