The silence in your room was interrupted when you heard the jingling of the door knob coming from your front door, you rapidly hid your heating pack under your sheets before pulling out your MacBook and continuing your homework
"Hey baby, how's your work going" your boyfriend Noah says jumping onto your bed laying his head on your shoulder looking at the work you were doing
"It's okay." You say not taking your eyes of your mac, it was hard to focus with your stomach feeling like somebody was continuously punching you in it, out of nowhere you feel a tear fall down your cheek, you wipe your eye as you sniffled trying to not to make it obvious
"Are you okay baby? Why are crying" Noah says moving your Mac away from your lap and moving your head into his chest as he caressed your cheek gently, without saying a word you pulled your heating pack away from underneath your sheets and laid it onto your stomach as you closed your eyes laying onto Noah's chest smiling
"Do you need me to-"
"Shhh" you say moving your finger towards his lip cutting him off
"All I need for you is to stay here" you say pulling your finger away
"Alright" he says kissing your lips before turning off the lights and laying with you in the darkness
"I love you" he whispers into your ear sending chills down your spine making you smile "I love you too" you say leaving the the room in complete silence.
