I wake up the next morning and stretch. I take a shower and study a little for my general ed test. After my classes in the morning, I go to Le total and brought my book along.
"Hey Catie." Joe said
"Hey Joe, anyone in the back room?" I asked.
"Nope, all yours."
"Can I have a coffee." I asked
"Sure." He said
I got my coffee and picked up my sugar and cremé.
I walk into the back room and sat down on the couch. Le royal' has the greatest, most comfortable furniture.
I opened my book and started reading. I bet I'm the only girl who would read 14 chapters in a day.
Chapter 14-
But just my luck someone walked in and sat down. My attention focused from the book to the person to who walked in. I look at him and my mouth dropped.
"David?" I stayed there shocked.
"Catherine?" his face was as shocked as I was.
Oh my god.
Then we just looked at each other. I thought I would never see him again.
Even though he looked so much older, his features were all still the same. His wavy dark brown hair, his beautiful chocolate brown eyes, and his amazing charm from freshman year. His tan skin, oh I remember it feeling so warm, and so comforting.
David's point of view
Holy crap.
HOLY CRAP.
Oh my gosh, she still looks the same. I mean of course she looks older but I still see the same Catie from freshman year. Her gorgeous brown her is still wavy but it'd longer now. Those big brown eyes still get me like they did before. And she's just so beautiful still.
"Hi Catie."
"Hi David."
"You look amazing."
I blushed.
"Thank you." I smiled.
"So, what brought you to Milwaukee?" he asked.
"Well, I got into MATC and now I transferred after my sophomore year there and now I'm at UWM."
"Oh wow!" he smiled. "I remember you saying that you wanted to be an interpreter, are you doing that now?"
"Yep, I'm going to get license for it soon." I said.
"That is awesome Catie, remember when you taught me how to spell out my name in sign language?"
"Oh yeah." I laughed. "Do you still remember it?"
He spelt it out correctly.
We both laughed.
"So what brings you to Milwaukee?" I asked.
"I was in New york, I got accepted at NYCDA and now I'm on break,so I'm visting my family."
"Congrats on NYCDA! I knew you would get into acting and performing."
David was always in choir amd plays in high school. Some days he would break out singing in class.
"Thanks, I knew it was the right path for me."
Then he got up and hugged me. Just standing there feeling his embrace brought back memories. From the good times and the bad times.
"It's really nice to see you Catie."
"It's really good to see you David."

Then I realized that we've been huggimg for like two minutes.
"Sorry." I said.
"For what? he smiled.
I laughed "Nothing."
"So, what are you doing for the rest of today?" he asked.
"Um, I'm not sure. Probably just go to my apartment"
"Aren't you visting your family for spring break?" he asked.
I looked down and said "No, my Mom died last winter." Her car slid of the road and into a deep ditch, there was high impact and she didn't make it."
"Oh, I'm so sorry Catie." he said.
"Its alright, I'm getting used to it now. "I'm sure she's looking after me."
I said positively.
"I'm sure she is." he responded.
"Do you want to hang out?" he asked.
"Really?" I said hesistantly.
"Yeah, I mean I know that you probably wanna get out of the house and maybe we can catch up." he offered.
I smiled "I would really like that."
He smiled.
I walk and grab my coat off the coat tree and then David up behind me and says "Here, let me help." he said sweetly.
"Thank you." I blushed.
So he puts on my coat and we walk out of the shop.
When we walk down the street I'm still thinking...
Is this really happening?
