IT IS HARD TO GRASP A CONCEPT YOU NEVER EVEN HEARD OF BEFORE. This was the case with the Multiple Realities that I discovered. I thought I knew it all, I had everything I could ever want all around me and yet my thirst for knowledge could not be quenched. It became an obsession. It had all started back in February, prior to the incident I had with Apollo I began having visions of something...extraordinary. Imagine colors. I know this may sound strange but stop and think of an endless sea of colors of all shades and hues, imagine them enveloping you and singing their sad song. This was the fate I contended with. This had gone on for well over a month before I casually mentioned it to Vivien, however I was met with a critical remark and left feeling worse than I had before.

This is my present state, and I'm afraid it needs changing. I got up from my office chair and started for the door. It was about five o' clock now and I needed dinner. Having become so involved with my research I hadn't bother to eat a stitch of food all day. I swung the heavy metal door open and winced as it banged against its hinges. The dead silence of the basement hallway left a shiver going down my spine. Where was everyone? I couldn't help but think. For all I knew my family could be captured somewhere against their will. No Grayson, why are you even thinking like that. I cursed silently to myself, I never talked like that. What was getting into me? I started to move towards the stairs that led to the foyer when I felt a gut-wrenching pain in my stomach. Shit. I cursed again. This freaking hurts. I clenched my abdomen while ignoring the pain and limped up the stairs. Something is seriously wrong. When I finally reached the top of the stairs I stopped in my tracks. I could hear something shift from behind the coat rack near the door. I was certain something lurked behind its dark crevices and I was about to murder whatever it was. "Come out from behind there," I ordered. No answer. I should have known better than to yell at a coat rack but couldn't find the mental willpower to stop myself. "I know you're there!" I bellowed in frustration. "If you don't come out I'll come make you!" Again, there was no answer. I should have been more cautious to my rash behavior and take notice of more important issues. I heard a crackle from behind me and instantly spun around ready to fight. Standing behind me was a tall blond haired young man wearing sun glasses. I found it odd that he was wearing them inside but decided to put aside my prejudice thoughts. "You," I muttered.

The young man turned and smiled. "Oh, hello Grayson, I'm just so glad to see you,"

I winced as the sarcasm of the Sun God burned into my skin like summer rays, knowing I was in the presence of a real and very powerful God put my mind into check. "It's good to see you too," I feigned kindness and smiled.

Apollo walked up to me and shook my hand. "It's an honor to meet someone as talented as yourself,"

I glanced off briefly. Vivien and Chase were out for the day, thank the Gods they didn't have to be here for this. "What can I help you with?" I asked trying not to raise any suspicion. The last thing I needed was for another God to be upset with me.

The Sun God removed his aviators and winked. "So what have you been up to?" He asked as if we were friends. "Anything juicy?"

"It's none of your business," I growled trying to hide my dissatisfaction.

Apollo's eyes narrowed. "There's no need to be rude, I'm just here because I want to see how your grandson is doing,"

I felt my feet sink into the ground. What did a God like him want with Chase? I paused before speaking, whatever answer I could give the God would most likely upset him. "I'm sorry, I am not in the mood to talk right now," I said while starting for the stairs.
