Ed's P.O.V

"Okay Ed, your on In 5, 4, 3......2".

My body was numb. All I could think about was the interview, hundreds of people watching me on this show answering questions. I knew I'd performed In front of millions before but that was different, when I have an instrument in my hand and a microphone I can make a song out of anything that pops into my head. I just connect with music, it understands me when I'm at my lowest lows and keeps me thinking positively. Once I'm performing I just zone out from the rest of the world and focus on what makes me happy, music....except I couldn't be calm now as I wasn't performing I was talking and I'm not the greatest at that. It would be so much easier with a guitar in my hand but life is a bitch.

"1 now walk on Ed good luck!"

I took a deep breath and put on a brave face. This was the first time I've really opened up to anyone about my work. I walked onto the stage trying to eliminate all signs of nervousness.

The audience roared as I walked into their sight, hundreds screaming my name. I gave the fans a quick wave and planted myself on the shiny, leather sofa in front of me before being greeted by a woman with short hair, obviously Ellen.

"Hi Ed! It's a pleasure to have you on my show" Ellen gave me a warm smile and a firm handshake. She looked younger in person and something about her made you feel comfortable.

"How's the high life so far? You're becoming very famous very quickly aren't you!" She chuckled.

"It's great thankyou, better than I could of ever imagined" I grinned feeling less nervous. She asked me a few questions about my career and I told her some of my stories from my childhood but then it got serious.

"So Ed, I've noticed that you haven't settled down with anyone yet. Are you looking for love or are you too busy working on your music for a serious relationship at the moment?" She questioned. I paused for a moment to think about it.

"Well erm I'm kind of looking for a relationship at the moment. I'm not very experienced with love as I was heart broken at a young age but I'm trying to get myself out there again" I answered shyly.

"Well your female fans will be very pleased to hear that! What sort of girl are you looking for?"

"Someone that isn't afraid to be themselves if you know what I mean? Like they won't change for anybody. It's not about how she looks, I just want someone that will love me for who I am and has a good personality" I said honestly.

"Wow that was lovely Ed, I'm sure you'll find the lucky one out there soon and I'm afraid that's all we have time for today, Thankyou for coming on my show Ed, it was a pleasure having you" Ellen smiled and stood up before shaking my hand and pointing me towards the side of the stage to exit. I smiled at her and waved at the audience as I walked off. That wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
