Prologue

It was raining and Lacey was walking thew the rain whistling. The rain was pounding so hard it was giving her a head ache, and blurred her vision. She had not noticed that she had stummbled onto the road.

There was the sound of music in the distance but Lacey had tooned it all out. a pair of head lights swerved back and forth, but she just stood ther puzzled.

The people inside the car had not seen Lacey and were yelling and screaming at each other in angery, drunken voices. By the time they had seen her in the middle of the road it was to late.

She screamed and the driver fummbled around trying to hit the brakes. the whites of her eyes were showing as she dissapered under the car. 

Every one jummped from the car and rushed to Lacey, who wasnt bleeding but her legs were bent in strange ways. the driver called 911 and every one gathered around waiting, desperetly hoping she was still alive...
