-Jennifer's POV

"Last but not least Miss Smith's partner will be Mr. Styles." Those are the words that came out of my math teachers mouth.

Wait Harry Styles. My partner is going to be Harry Styles. The boy who've I had a crush on forever. Is going to be my partner for a whole month! But then again this could all end up very bad. What if he doesnt look at me the way i look at him. I mean were bestfriends so this shouls be fun but still.!

"Ok class dismissed" and with that the whole class rushes out of the classrooms, which im very thankful cause this is my free period. I start to walk towards were i always go for free period the lake. I was very lucky to have a school that attaches to the same playground that i go at home since its right by the playground, but im the only one that goes there. I find a nice patch of grass to lay down on while i go grab my artbook and start drawing. If anyone ever asked where my happy place is. This is it this is my altime favorite place to be. Its already been 30 min so i decide to walk up close to the lake and wade my feet. As im in a deep though a voices inturput me.

"Rachel, you need to understand that i dont want to be with you!"

Im guess Rachel replys but I cant here her all I can here is. Harry?!

"Stop just go I dont want you in my life anymore."

And with that Harry starts to walk over here. Why is he walking over here? Maybe he just wants to talk? Or maybe he doesnt even know your here.

"Oh hey Jennifer, I didnt know you came here" ding ding ding he doesn't know I was here.

"Hey Harry, and yeah I always come here on free period, and if you dont mind me asking what happened back there"

"Oh it was nothing"

"Harry it was obviously not nothing, you can tell me"

"Just drop it ok" he snaps

"Harry im just trying to help you should be grateful and i dont want you or me acting like this during the project!"

"Jennifer."he starts

"No Harry you should be grateful that you have people that care about you, you should just be grateful for all these little things!" I yell with tears streaming down my face

"Jennifer im sorry ok, had something happened that makes you the emotional about that?"

"Yeah...it's just like my dad use to be really ungrateful for the small things, to me it doesn't matter if it is a big or small thing, you should be grateful."

"Jennifer, I'm sorry I'll always be here if you want to talk okay."

"Yeah, thank you Harry it's just that I usually don't let people into my life this easy, I don't want to get hurt.

"Jennifer what are you talking about?"

"Nobody cares about me Harry I only have my best friend and my mom, my dads in prison and even if her was out he wont give a shit about me, and if my mom had a choice she would give me up." I can even speak straight without crying.

"Wait what?! Jennifer why haven't you told me about this before, and what do you mean your mom would give you up of she could?"

"Because my partents didnt want me.. My dad raped my mom so many times that she had me Harry! Im not even suppose to be alive."

-Harry's POV

Im frozen in shock. Her partents weren't suppose to have her. I dont even know what to say. So I dont say anything i just brig here closer to me and wrap her in my arms. I feel so bad about this words cant explain. Now we be a great time to tell her I like her. But then ill be rushing things.

She starts to calm down and backs away from my hold.

"Jennifer, im so sorry, I didn't know"

"Harry its ok I just dont know what to do anymore cause I mean a kinda dont have any partents and then all I have is Heather" she starts to break down again.

"Jennifer ill always be here for you, no matter what I promise."

"Re-Really?, you'd do that for me"

"Of course your my best friend, I'll do anything and everything to help and protect you."

Best friend and someday I hope to to use girlfriend.

"Thank you Harry you have no idea what that means to me"

"And Jennifer I don't know if youve noticed but the bell rang 30 mintues ago"

"Oh okk um its ok ill think of something lets just go"

"Harry, im glad that our teachers picked us to be partenrs"
