Gone Missing

Chapter 3

The day was already over and I hadn't seen Liz since lunch. As I waited for Liz outside of school I started to get goosebumps. After waiting 30 minutes for Liz I decided to go ahead and head home. As I was walking I felt like somebody was watching me. I turned around to see nobody. As I started to walk again a few minutes later I heard footsteps again. I turned around again to see nobody. "Ok Cat just stay calm". I started to get really scared so I started walking faster.

As I was walking I turned around one more time to see a guy following me. I started to run, but so did the guy. I ran the rest of the way home. I ran in the door so fast that when I ran in I hit my head on the wall and fell down on my back.

"Ouch that hurt"!

"Honey is that you"?

"Yeah it's me mom"!

"Hey sweetie what are you doing on the floor"?

"Nothing mom nothing.....well I'm going to go to my room mom".

"Ok sweetie".

"This has been some day".

As I was walking to my room I saw my brother Tyler playing on his Xbox with his best friend Coby. I walked into my wonderful bedroom and plopped down on my bed. So let me tell you about my room. The walls are a light pink, my bed spread is Zebra. I have pink and blue curtains. I have my own bathroom and a walk in closet. I have a white soft rug by my bed. I also have a small desk in the corner and a flat screen tv. Yes you might've guessed I'm kinda rich. Well my parents are at least. As I was lying thinking about my day I slowly fell into deep sleep.

"CATHERINE! Time to wake up for school it's Friday"!

"It's finally Friday...it's been such a long week". I said to myself.

"Coming mom"!

I got dressed and ate breakfast, I also did my makeup and hair. Then I was ready to go.

"Bye mom I'm leaving now"!

"Ok by sweetie have a good day"!

As I started walking to school I heard someone running towards me.

"Hey Liz"!

"Hey"!

"So it's finally Friday Liz".

"Yeah I can't wait for the day to be over". What about you"?

"Oh I'm so ready for the weekend"!

"So where were you yesterdayLiz I waited 30 minutes for you but you never came"?

"Oh I was helping out in the library because I got a job in there and I guess I forgot to tell you sorry".

"Oh it's ok".

I knew she wasn't telling the truth but I decided to leave it at that.
