Alexis POV

I was on my way home from school when I got a text from Carter telling me to meet him at the Ice-Cream shop .

Me: how in the hell did he get my number .

Worrisome: this Carter meet me at the ice cream shop

Crush: how did u get my number ?

Worrisome: I'll tell you wen u get here . Come on .

Crush: Okay

I walked to the ice cream shop and was soon there since it was just a few blocks away . I walked in and seen Carter sitting at a table . I walked over and sat down .

Me: okay I'm here what you need ?

Carter: um look imma put it like this , Raven is a fake trifling a** friend . Stay away from her foreal .

Me: boy stop ! Whatchu mean ?

Carter: she be hanging out and going to the mall and shxt with that hœ Kesha .

Me: uh how do you know ?

Carter: because I seen them at the mall when I was with my homeboy , Jayvian please believe me I promise you I'm telling the tru-

Carter: what ? Why so easy ?

Me: you're not the first person that told me this . I knew it but I didn't want to believe it . I prayed every night that it wasn't true because I loved her so much like a sister I never had .

My eyes started getting watery then I was crying like a fvcking baby .

Carter moved to my side of the table by me and held me in his arms . He was so warm and he smelled good . I didn't bother to move .

Carter: it's okay Ma no matter how much you hate me imma always be there for you , even if it kills me .

Me: I don't hate you I just have a strong dislike for you .

Carter: uhh Thanks I guess .

I laughed and looked up at him we stayed like this for a few minutes then it happened . He started to lean in and I did to I couldn't resist those pink , plump lips . We kissed and it got deeper .

Me: uh umm C-Can you take-e me home ?

Carter just smiled at me and nodded . I don't know why but he made me tingly inside . Ugh ! I how did he make me feel like this !

Carter's POV

Lexis and I got up and walked to my rover . I know she liked that kiss , I ain't even gone lie it felt like magic or some shxt .

Alexis: nice car .

Me: thanks Ma

We got in and and she gave me the directions to her house . I dropped her off and went to sell some more of this product for a some lil fast money . I drove to the far side of town to get more money .

I pulled up to an alley . Without getting out yet I seen someone with a gun to someone's else head . I couldn't believe my eyes . I think I was dreaming .

I saw a man familiar to Andre , my dad . He had the gun pointing to a guy head bout to pull the trigger .

I got out and crept up behind him .

Me: Andre ?

He turned around and looked at me we did this for a minute .

??: My name ain't Andre Uh What you talking about ?

Me: don't fvcking play with me . Why the hell did you fake ur death !?

??: look boy , I said my name ain't Andre .

I mugged at em and pulled my gun out and walked closer in his face .

Me: I swear if you say u ain't Andre again I will blow ur dck off . I said as I put my gun to his pants .

??: Listen , Carter it was for a reason .

Me: tell me damnit !

Andre; someone is out to kill me I had to fake my death or die foreal . I'm sorry I didn't tell y'all but I didn't want to get caught up Son.

Me: cut the bs . You could've said something . You just selfish as Fvck-

I was rudely interrupted by his phone ringing . He picked up .

*phone convo*

Dre: hey baby

Dre: I'll be there in a minute

Dre: Haha You gne be obese if u keep on bae

Dre: damn sorry . I'll get it then .

Dre: I know but bye love you too .

He hung up and turned his attention back to me .

Dre: okay sorry bout that .

Me: uhm who tf u was calling bae and baby ?

Dre: my fiancé , Krystal .

Me: dude ! Wtf u left us and got engaged !? You green as Fvck yo !

Dre: I'm sorry Carter .

Me: you said that already . So what is it changing ?

Dre: there's something else u need to know to . She's pregnant with a little girl .

I was so shocked and pissed off I didn't even say anything I just watch him try to past me a piece of paper . I was staring in space so he just dropped it by my shoe .

I really can't believe his stupid a** did all this . I picked up the paper and it had and address and phone number on it . I knew it was his I stuffed the paper in my pocket and walked back to my truck .

I wasn't going to slang rocks tonight I wasn't even in the mood anymore . I'm bout to go home and go to sleep ....

•The Next Day!•

Andre's POV

I knew I was wrong for not telling my sons and everybody else I wasn't dead and I faked my death , but it was for a reason . some dude named Mike is out trynna kill a nigga and Ian wanna get my fam caught up in all that bs .

Right now I was sitting in the waiting room in the hospital . Krystal had went into labor so we had to speed here. I was interrupted out my thoughts when a nurse came out she handed me a hospital robe and sent me to the room . I walked In to Krystal who was sweating and screaming , I grabbed her hand and she cut my circulation off .

Dr: 3 more pushes you're doing good .

She pushed three more times then my baby girl was here they gave me the scissors and I cut the chord .

They took my baby girl to clean her off and soon brought her back minutes later .

Dr: soo what are you going to name her ?

Me: what about Andria Karly Hines ?

Krystal: beautiful

We sat for a while more and soon went to sleep .
