We enter the club. All I can see are strobe lights and booming music that are hurting my ears. Great, we have just gotten here and I'm already having a bad time. We walk through the crowd of sweaty bodies and find a table. Ugh, it smells horrible in here. A waiter takes our order. Everyone else orders shots but I'm not planning on getting wasted, so I nicely ask for a lemonade. We've been sitting at the table for a while, and I'm not having any "fun". Zoe giggles and grabs my hand.
"Um where are we going?" I ask. Please don't tell me we're heading to the dance floor. I can't dance. At all.
"C'mon let's go dance!" She slurs. I can tell she's already had too much to drink. We re-enter the crowd of sweaty bodies. I try to get into the music, but it's impossible with people pushing me and stepping on my feet. I look around and I see Zoe no where in sight. Anddd this is why I don't like going out to parties. I make my way through the crowd back to the table. I grab my purse and my phone, and I leave a tip for the waiter. Someone grabs my waste and breathes on my neck.
"Hey Gorgeous, where are you going?", A male's voice slurs. I fight against the grip.
"Get the fuck off me!" I spit. I quickly walk off and push through the crowd. I'm done with this stupid party. I walk out of the club and take a deep breath. The cold air feels good against my hot skin. Across the street, I see a small coffee shop. I hope it's still open.
I walk in and order a chai latte. I pay for the coffee and sit down at a small table. I sip the warm beverage and sigh in relief. This place is so much better than that stupid club.
I look around the shop, it's small but extremely cosy. The only person I see in here is a guy in the dark corner on the opposite side of the room. The only thing I can see is his electric blue eyes staring at me. His long stare sends chills down my back. I quickly turn around and pretend I didn't see him. That was really creepy.
I send a text to Zoe telling her that I'm fine and I'm going back to the dorm. I throw away my coffee and exit the shop. I walk towards my car and try to jiggle the key into the car. Ugh, I can't get the key in. Before I can try another time, I feel a rough hand grab my waste and cover my mouth. I scream, but it is muffled. My eyes start to water as I try to scream again.
"Don't ever try to fucking run away from me, bitch." , the man's voice growls.
I feel something go over my eyes, I can't see anything. I feel the grip loosen and I hear a grunt. What the hell is going on? I hear something hard hit the ground, and I feel hands around me again.
"Move." The man sternly tells me. The rag is still on my eyes, and I still can't see anything. We walk for a while, and with every step I get more anxious. He suddenly stops in his tracks, making me stop. I feel rough hands take off the rag covering my eyes. The tears in my eyes blur my eyesight. All I can see are a pair of deep, blue eyes. Why do they look so familiar?
"W-What do you want from m-me?" I beg.
"I want to protect you. I needed to show that prick a lesson. I could've just fucking killed him." He says getting angrier by every word he spoke.
"W-what are you talking about? P-please don't hurt me" I need to get out of here.
He cups his hands around my cheeks stained by tears.
"Oh darling, I would never hurt you." he smirks.
