A man walked slowly and heavily along a stone walkway which was carved into the middle of a large evergreen forest containing trees that stood the height of redwoods. The man's walk slowed as he'd approach a widening in the walkway. His white dress shirt blew lightly in the breeze that swept his night-black hair back, his polished black boots glittered with the light of the stars that illumined the ring of violet that orbited his pupils, "Old tricks, do not take me for a fool Axël." he spoke in a whisper that traveled with the force of a yell. The man then grinned lightly as he turned on his heels allowing his back to face the widened area, then, breathing in deeply, he'd begin to spin.
His spin began casually as if he was simply twirling around for entertainment, though his velocity increased steadily until the force of his rotations began to rip stones and dirt from the walkway. The grin that was once on the mans face was now replaced with gritted teeth as his level of concentration grew with each turn, his body was now nothing more than a blur and the walkway where he once stood was ripped to near shreds, more than half of the giant evergreens were uprooted by the magnitude of the spin, causing the once beautiful forest to appear as the cratered and lifeless surface of the moon. The spin's velocity steadily decreased, until after about a minute the man was at a complete stop. He would then breathe out and turn his gaze to the once distinguishable widened area, which now appeared the same as the rest of the walkway, demolished. He'd then tap his foot lightly upon the shredded floor of the walkway and as the sole of his boot made contact with the razed stones, the ground seemingly trembled with fear.
The walkway shuttered and cracked throwing the destroyed stones into a violent convulsion, yet the man would remain in the chaos unscathed. "Goodbye Bastide..." as the man spoke the words, the convulsions receded and eventually stopped. Upon stopping the man lifted his head to the sky, a shattering sound resounded throughout the forest as glass type shards filled the air. Each shard glowed a light violet as they descended to the floor and seemingly disappeared, "I'm coming for you Axël..."
