Grayson's POV

The bell rang and I was walking in the crowded halls when we all hear. "Everyone backs against the wall," a cold deep voice boomed through the hall. I knew that voice the biter taste filled my mouth. That was Marcus, head of security. I wonder what happened. Everyone reluctantly obeyed when we heard the zap of the tasers. Two guards were dragging the new girl. she looked limp and lifeless her face was covered in blood as well as her knuckles. There were a few guards that looked to be in worst conditions if that was possible. But it was no surprise the one that got the worst of it was Lawrence.

Many curses echoed the halls from various students as they beheld the sight. I don"t know why but she looked beautiful. Her face signified peace with a bit of killing calm. Her eyes were closed and I longed to look in them. I couldn't help but smile when i looked back at Lawrence to admire what she did. Seems like he got what was due to him.

Marcus looked at me. "Grayson, come with me. I have a job for you." I felt the eyes on me when he said that. I rolled my eyes, this was probably another poor attempt at him trying to pick on me. This isn't much of a punishment though. I wanted to get to know her if that means I can tag along than I will do so willingly. I followed behind him and the green eyed girl that had been on my mind all day.

Her face was bruised right on her pronounced cheekbones. No doubt, she looked intimidating. Like a fierce warrior honing beauty as a weapon of death. she groaned, which made the others slow, wisely they kept distance but not Marcus he steadied her up right his grip firm on her. He grabbed her by her jaw and shook her a bit. "look at me, " he said sternly. She opened her eyes starring at his sea water green eyes. They both had dark black hair and green eyes. "Can you walk yourself?" His voice had a hint of concern in it. Why is he being kind?

She pushed past him. "I'm fine." It came out sounding like a growl. He looked frustrated with her. "Where are you going.. you can hardly walk by yourself." He was right, she was swaying as she walked. Holding her head from time to time.

"I can take care of myself Marcus."

Did they know each other? "Nad-"

She cut him off "No.. don't pretend you care now! You didn't when you left dammit."

"Nadia, please don't be like that." He said her name like a plea. Where they lovers?

She growled. "You left me with him, after all he did to me.." She began to cry. He rubbed his face as if to keep himself from crying. He looked overcome with guilt as he watched her walk away. My presence felt wrong the whole time if anything.

When he turned toward me the pain was clear on his face. His eyes glossed over. He fumbled when he began to speak. "I...I need you to make sure she makes it to the medical room.. and show her around when she gets everything.. understood?" I simply nodded to hold back from asking so many questions. When he left I turned to the last direction I saw her walking.
