Kennedys POV

I woke up with a huge headache. I could barely open my eyes because of the blinding light. I finally managed and I nearly have a heart attack.

I’m tied to a chair and right across from me so is Justin. He’s beaten up.

His face has so many bruises and along his arm. I don’t even want to know what happened.

What if he’s knocked out? What if he’s dead? How did we get here? Who’s behind all of this? Where’s the rest of his gang?  All these questions are going through my head but I have no answers.

I can’t remember anything. All I remember is going to sleep in Justins arms and waking up here.

I know being Justins girlfriend comes with many life endangering moments. His gang and him are the top of Americas Most Wanted and rule New York City. No gang has ever come close. They always try to put his gang out of business but all they manage to do is piss him off.

And when you piss off Justin you might as well run. He has killed so many people and done so many things that I don’t approve of but I love him anyway.

We have been together for 2 years and honestly I don’t know how I, being a shy and reserved girl, managed to fall in love with a ruthless and confident boy like Justin.

From the corner of my eye I see Justin flinch.

My heart starts accelerating.

Please wake up. Please. I keep praying.

Finally after 5 minutes his eyes open up. Alert is clear. He seems to not even care about the bruises all over him. He looks at me and a sigh of relief is shown.

“Oh Justin I’m so happy you’re awake. Where are we?”

“Are you okay babe? Did they hurt you? Ill rip them to shreds.”

“Justin I’m fine. Where are we?”

Justin starts looking around and answers my question, “I think we are in the house of the Cobras.”

My eyes open wide in fear. I was here before and it was not pleasant whatsoever.

“Baby don’t be scared please. Imma get us out of here. I promise.” Justin reassures me.

I nod. I’m speechless. I’m not normally scared of these types of situations because they’ve happened plenty of times in the past 2 years but the Cobras.

The name just sends shivers down my spine.

Justin looks around for what feels like hours and ends up finding a knife.

He starts cutting his wrists free with plenty of difficulty.
