Blind! Reader

Ever since the attack of a gang of vampires. Things havent gone well for the three. Well, only for one. Y/N.

In the attack, everyone was fighting them off. Mika watching out for Yuus back and Yuu watching out for Mikas. Y/N was doing very well on her own. Unfortunately, faith wasn't in a good mood.

"Damn, where did these vamps came from?" She said as she was using her spells on them. "They came out of nowhere. I guess it was a bad idea go throught the alley" Yuu punched a vamp. "We shouldn't get distracted" Mika yelled to the two.

After knocking out a part of vamps, Y/N ran towards Mika and Yuu to help out. Y/N saw Yuu having trouble fighting off two vampires. She helped him, by levitating one and throwing them and Yuu the other. "I saved your ass" Y/N smirked. "Tha-Y/N look behind you!" She turned her body and saw a vampire charging at her bringing a dagger down to her eyes.

Time was going slow for Y/N. She didnt move. The last thing she saw was the thin side of a knife coming towards her eyes. Everything then went dark. She felt a sharp pain. She cried out and covered her face. She felt liquid, but couldnt see it. "Y/N!" Mika punched the vampire he was facing with and knocked out the one who hurt his sister. "It'll be ok!" Yuu held her.

Mika saw police arrive, this made the rest of the gang run away. "What happened?!" They yelled. "We were jumped by a gang and my sister got hurt" Mika responded. Shinoa gave him a nod, "Put her on the gurney" Yuu carried her inside the truck and held her as she yelled. "Yuu, I cant see! Where am I? Where is Mika?!" She yelled. Mika had a shocked expression. "You are fine. They are taking you the hospital"

The next day, Y/N's eyes were covered with bandages. She was laying down on a bed. Her hair was spread out on the pillow.

She heard the door open and footsteps come in. "Yuu?" She called out. "Its Mika. Yuu is getting food" She nodded. "Are you feeling alright?" Mika askes her. "Yeah. Im feeling fine.."

"Are you sure?"

"I am a strong girl Mika. I am fine" She smiled looking at the wall. "I am..facing you right?" She smiled.

"Um..yes?"

The door opened and someone walked in. "Is that Yuu?" Yuu placed a plate on a table next to the bed. "Yeah, its me..." Yuu smiled at her weakly. "So, Mika said that you brought me food. Let's see how good you know me" She giggled.

"Ah, right! I know you aren't supposed to eat crap like this, but I got you (snack choice). Did I get it right?"

"Wow, you sure do have a good memory"

Yuu and Mika helped her eat. After finishing up, she stretched. So, any plans today?" She smiled. Mika scratched his head, "Well, we are waiting for the doctor to let us know what will happen next" A doctor walked in. "Hello, I presume you two are family?" They both nodded. "We have gotten the results, and it seems that she will need to stay put her for at least 2 weeks"

After Mika talkes to the doctor, he looked at Y/N. "Seems you wont be coming home for a few days" He told her. "Well, what are we going to do about it. Hey! At least I am getting free food" She smiled.

As the sun set, Y/N fell asleep. Mika cleaned up and covered her shoulders with a blanket. Yuu looked at her, hurt. Mika noticed and asked, "Is there something wrong?" Yuu looked at him. "Nothing... Im fine" Mika nodded and left Yuu with Y/N's sleeping figure. He looked at her, tears welling up. He wiped them off before they could fall and left the room.

After a week or two, it was time to remove the bandages. "Are you ready?" The doctor asked her. She nodded and stood still. The doctor unwrapped the bandages. Yuu and Mika held their breath, believing that any wrong move can hurt her. Finally, they were off. "You can open your eyes" Mika spoke. She opened her eyes. Her eyes were still the same as they were. She suddenly screamed, "My eyes!!" She covered her eyes. "Ah, we should have put you in a better lit room" A nurse panicked, while Mika shut the blinds of the windows. "I was joking. But, it was bright" She looked around and only saw darkness and blurriness. "So, I guess I am blind now" She smiled. Yuu looked down guilty. "Unfortunately, now when you go home. You will wear sunglasses to have your eyes adjust to the light and you will also use a cane to help you move around.

They walked her outside and felt a cool breeze. "That feels nice" She looked up. "So, shall we go to our house"

After arriving home, Y/N took a deep inhale. "Ah, how I missed you house" She mover her way towards the couch and tried sitting down. Mika and Yuu helped her. "Heh, I feel like an old lady" She laughed. "You should probably get some rest" Mika told her. She nodded, "Now, who is going to help me up?" Yuu helped her up and helped her to her room.

Mika and Yuu helped her change into her pjs and layed her down. "Thanks guys" she covered herself in her blanket and went to sleep.

Mika and Yuu walkes out of the room and into the living room. "Yuu.. We need to talk" Yuu stopped and looked at Mika surprised. "About what?" He asked innocently. "About you"

"You havent looked at Y/N normally. Only with guilt. Are you sure you are fine?"

Yuu looked down, "Is it my fault?" Mika looked at him surprised. "What's your fault?"

"My fault that she is how she is now! My fault that she is now going to go through this! My fault for not being strong enough to handle the vamps! Its my fault!" He places his hands on his hair.

Mika hugged Yuu, "No it isn't. It was no ones fault. It was the vamps fault" Yuu pulled away from Mika and walked to his room, "And I am the one who caused it to happen" and with that he entered his room. What he didnt know, was that someone was still awake, listening.

A week passed, after Y/N has gotten out of the hospital. "Hey Yuu, can we go for a walk to the park?" Y/N asked Yuu. "Uh, sure" Yuu grabbed a jacket for both him and her. He put on her shoes and helped her out the door.

As they walked, Y/N asked Yuu to describe how the park looked. "Well, the leafs are starting to turn color. There are kids running around. A couple on a bench..." Yuu described.

They stopped and went into a building that allowed people into a balcony. Y/N looked out into the world. "Hey, can we talk?" Y/N asked. Yuu sighed, "You sound like a mom about to beat my ass" He stretched. "Well, I guess it kinda is" It was silent for a moment.

"On the day when I came home from the hospital, I heard you and Mikas conversation"

Yuu looked nervous and waited for what she was about to say.

"Yuu, its not your fault. Its not your fault that I am like this" She grabbed his hand and gave him a reassuring squeeze.

"But I could have-" She cut him off, "Am I still alive?" He nodded.

"Yeah.."

"Then, I am fine. I am gonna be able to see- I mean be in you and Mikas lives. So, dont beat yourself up for it" She smiled.

Yuu smoled and hugged her, which she returned. He then felt a pain come from the head. Which was due to Y/N smacking him on the head.

"But, if I hear you blame yourself again. I will be the one to kill you"

"Ok, ok. Jeez!"
